Chapter 22

She looked at him, sleeping peacefully like a baby. She touched his face lightly with the back of her fingers. He didn't open his eyes and held her hand and kissed it, and pulled her closer in his embrace. She inhaled the addictive scent of his body and kissed on his neck. He drew her even closer, causing her face to get buried in his neck.

" Is this a dream?" She thought and hugged him tightly and kissed his neck again. He lowered his head and kissed on her forehead. She looked up at him, and he kissed her lips with fervor.

" What have you done to me?" He said in a sleepy, raspy voice and kissed on her lips again, this time hovering over her.

" You will be late for work." She said softly.

" Shhh.." he said and removed her top.

" This is so unprofessional of you. Everyone has been waiting for you to start the show." RM said as Jungkook reached his work venue quite late.

" Sorry.. I was.. kind of busy.." he said and cleared his throat.

" Getting laid." Jimin added. Jungkook looked at him and scoffed.

" There's no problem with that. I love getting laid, too. But do it at night. I know doing it during the day gives a nice kick, so just try to find a few minutes during break time. If you ask me these few minutes in between work, give the best... you know...." RM explained, and then took a huge sigh and shook his head in a bit of sadness.

Jungkook and Jimin looked at him and chuckled.

" Don't mind him. He didn't get any for a month." Suga said lazily from behind.

" Jungkook, who have you been hooking up with these days? I bet she's awesome. She has been keeping you quite busy. Introduce her to us, too. Sharing is caring.." RM said and chuckled, ignoring Jungkook's gaze that was turning bloodshot.

" Enough!" Taehyung said loudly to RM even before Jungkook could say anything, catching everyone by surprise. He then lowered his eyes.

" I mean.. let's talk about something else. I have been trying not to have casual hookups anymore, and you all are distracting me." Taehyung said and chuckled while ruffling his hair. It soothed the tense air around them.

" Rapmon.. don't worry, I'll find you one." Jhope said quickly, patting his back.

RM nodded, and they all went inside the building.

"You look beautiful." Jungkook said to Annie as they were on a video call when he was taking a break from the shoot.

She looked at him, surprised. Her hair was messy, and she looked so simple and tired of taking care of the baby.

" From where is this coming ?" She asked.

" From my heart." He replied and smiled.

" You are making fun of me." She said quickly.

" What? Why would I do that? I am just surprised that you look so beautiful even in your messed up state."

She instantly blushed.

" Ahh! You are so shy. Do you wish to kill me ?" He said and smiled again, causing her to chuckle.

" Why did you call?" She asked, trying to control her blush.

" I was missing you." He said softly.

" Already?" She said and turned red again.

He bit his lip to control his own blush. Then they both laughed. He kept looking at her silently.

" What?" She asked and tucked her hair strand behind her ear.
