Chapter 23

" Jungkook... mmh.." Annie moaned shyly as he kissed her neck from left to right passionately. Her body jerked and arched at his every single kiss. Her one hand held his shoulder while the other held his hair that was wet from the heavy downpour. Their bodies were glued together against the strong bark of a tree.

Annie got startled and pushed him when a loud thunder interrupted them. He smirked and pulled her closer again.

" Jungkook.. not here.. please.." she said, creating a distance by keeping her hands on his chest.

" Why?" His voice was raspy. He smiled and started setting and soothing her wet hair.

" I'm not comfortable here... in open.." she said and looked down.

" Okay.. your word is my command. " He said and bowed his head in reverance and continued,

"Though I would suggest you do stuff out of your comfort zone sometimes." He smiled.

She did not say anything and kept looking down. He took out his phone and played a romantic song, extended his hand towards her, and said,

" Then what about a dance, my lady."

" Jungkook... it's raining.. we'll get sick.. let's find a shelter." She said, and he looked at her with complete disbelief and an open mouth. She laughed hard, looking at his face.

" I was kidding. I'm not such a big spoilsport." She said and placed her hand into his.

" You are no fun, either." Jungkook said and kept her hands on his shoulders and held her waist.

" Why would you say that?" Annie said quickly.

" Because you are a scaredy cat." He said again and smiled while lightly swaying to the rhythm of the music.

" I... I... whatever.." she said and rolled her eyes.

" And anti romantic." He said and nodded his head.

" I'm not any of these things, okay? I'm the most romantic person in this world."

" Haah!" Jungkook produced a scoffing laugh like sound.

"And I wasn't always a scaredy cat. Nobody loved romance more than me. I was a big-time daydreamer. You should have seen my novel collection, all about romance." She said.

" What happened then?" He asked softly.

" Life happened. All of these years, especially the past year, brought me to the real world away from my fairy tales. So much has happened... I don't know.. I'm scared of everything now.." she said with a shaky voice.

He pulled her closer and joined their heads while their bodies moved lightly to the music. She looked at him and smiled and continued,

" But... it's like a fairy tale once again. My real world right now feels like a dream. I'm so scared that I'll wake up one day and you'll be gone." Her voice was filled with tremor.

He cupped her face and kissed her forehead.

" I'm yours. Forever and beyond. Only and only yours." His voice was low and husky.

She clutched his shoulder tightly and hugged him for a while. She broke the hug and wiped her tears.

" Jungkook.. change this to flute music. I love the sound of a flute." She said. He gave her his phone.

" It's locked." She said.

He told her the password, causing a shy smile to appear on her face.

She played her favorite song. The song even had a sensual feel to it.
