The next morning, Anshuman stormed into the Eclipse Group's office, his anger and frustration boiling over. He demanded to speak to the manager, and after a brief wait, he was ushered into a sleek, modern office.
The manager, a poised and polished woman named Sophia, looked up from her desk. "Can I help you, Mr. Anshuman?"
Anshuman's voice was low and menacing. "You know exactly why I'm here, Sophia. Prisha. What's going on?"
Sophia's expression remained calm, but a hint of wariness crept into her eyes. "I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about, Mr. Anshuman."
Anshuman's anger erupted. "Don't lie to me! Rohan told me yesterday that someone from TechNovva Solutions asked you to send Prisha. I want to know who and why!"
Sophia stood, her voice firm. "I understand your concern, Mr. Anshuman, but I'm afraid that's confidential information."
Anshuman's fists clenched. "Confidential? You're hiding something, Sophia. And I'm going to find out what it is."
Suddenly, the manager's expression changed, and she spoke in a low, urgent tone. "Anshuman, please understand—"
But Anshuman cut her off, his voice rising. "No, you understand! I want answers, and I want them now!"
The scene ended with Anshuman's angry outburst, leaving the manager's response hanging in the balance.
The manager's expression changed, and she spoke in a low, urgent tone. "Anshuman, please understand—"
But Anshuman cut her off, his voice rising. "No, you understand! I want answers, and I want them now!"
The manager hesitated, then spoke in a barely audible whisper. "It was —-------." (wait until the next part to know the real person)
Anshuman's eyes widened in shock, and he felt like he'd been punched in the gut. He stumbled backward, his legs trembling beneath him.
"No...it can't be," he whispered, his voice shaking with disbelief.
The manager's eyes filled with tears. "I'm so sorry, Anshuman. I didn't want to hurt you."
Anshuman's face went white, and he felt like he was going to pass out. He struggled to breathe, his mind reeling with the implications.
"Who...why..." he stammered, but his voice trailed off.
He felt like he was dying like his whole world had been turned upside down. He couldn't think, couldn't speak, couldn't move.
All he could do was stand there, frozen in shock and horror, as the manager's words echoed in his mind like a death sentence...
Anshuman's eyes rolled back, and he felt himself falling, falling, falling into a dark abyss. The manager's voice was a distant echo, a faint whisper in his mind.
"Anshuman...Anshuman, please..."
But he was gone, lost in a sea of shock and betrayal. His world had been shattered, his trust broken. The person he thought he knew, the person he thought he could trust...was a liar.
The manager rushed to his side, catching him as he fell. "Anshuman, please, come back to me!"
But Anshuman was gone, lost in a darkness so deep, so profound, that he might never find his way back.
Who do you think from the TechNovva Solutions would have done this? Find out in the next chapter.
