Bill's powers have been limited since he became human. He found he can only enter someone's mind if they are sleeping within twenty feet of him. Any further than that, he was limited to the individuals on the Cipher Wheel. Thankfully, he found an abandonded cabin in the forest that was perfect for the ritual.

Dead crows litter the floor around Bill as he stares at the wall, admiring his masterpiece. His Cipher Wheel stretching across the wall, drawn in blood. Ten candles circle around him, each representing a zodiac on the Wheel. Bill snaps his fingers, lighting Pintree's and closes his eyes.

Nothing, the boy is nowhere to be seen in the mindscape. Bill glances at the clock on the wall behind him. 2:30 am, what the hell can the boy be doing? Curiosity ultimately gets the better of the demon, and he slams the cabin door heading to the Mystery Shack.

The only sound he can hear when he arrives is music playing in the attic. A small balcony had been added, giving Bill the perfect place to spy.

'Leave your weapon on the table, wrapped in burlap, barely able'

Bill makes his way towards the Shack slowly.

'Don't get angry, don't discourage, take a shot of liquid courage'

The music grows louder as he climbs the wall.

'Leave a light on if you're able, 'cause we both know you're unstable'

Shooting Star must have moved to a different room, in the place of her bed is now a desk, where Dipper sits, sketching something. A small Bluetooth speaker sits on the desk next to him.

'Call a doctor, say a prayer, choose a god you think is there'

Bill watches, not even a yawn leaving the young Pines twin's mouth as he works.

'Cause my monsters are real, and they're trained how to kill, and there's no coming back, and they just laugh at how I feel, and these monsters can-'

Dipper looks at the window angrily, turning the speaker off. He rolls his eyes and stands up. Bill simply smiles as the boy pushes the glass up.

"What do you want, Cipher?"

"I think you know exactly what I want." Bill smirks, swinging into the room. He walks towards the desk, picking up the paper.

Dipper just stares at the man in his room. Hundreds of questions filling his mind. Did Bill possess this person? Is this simply Bill as a human? How did he come back? Will he have enough time to get Mabel home if Bill creates another Weirdmageddon?

"You've got quite the artistic hand, kid." Bill comments, pulling Dipper out of his thoughts. The blonde admires the drawing on his desk smugly.

He simply crosses his arms at the demon, refusing the compliment. Bill seems unbothered.

"Geez, relax, maybe Shooting Star will be in a better mood." The demon laughs, walking towards the door.

Without thinking, Dipper grabs his pocket knife from his desk and charges at Bill. Of course, Bill easily knocks the knife from his hand.

"Now, now, Pintree, I may be in a human body," he narrows his eyes, "but I'm still a demon." He finishes, grabbing the boy by the throat and pinning him to the wall.

"But you're weaker," he retorts, earning a growl from the blonde, but continues regardless. "If you were the same demon from before. You wouldn't be here physically. You'd be in my mind. And you would know that Mabel isn't here tonight. So much for All Seeing Eye."

Although provoking Bill like this is risky, his anger clouds any judgment unaffected by his anxiety. Bill begins to laugh, releasing Dipper and patting his head.

"You really have grown up, Pinetree. Catch you later." He says, snapping his fingers and disappearing.

AN: It's unnecessarily difficult to write like a normal person when doing Bill's pov. I'm currently writing chapter eight and realized that I always refer to the Pines family as their zodiacs 🫣

AN 2: It's obviously been a while since I wrote this chapter because I just finished writing chapter twenty five 😅
