The rest of the weekend is uncomfortable, to say the least. Especially now that Mabel is refusing to speak to Dipper after their fight this morning. She had been trying to convince him to let her stay, but Dipper wouldn't hear her out, insisting she leave tomorrow as planned. Maybe he should have been gentler with his words, but he can't stand the thought of her staying here and possibly getting killed. As he walks as figure appears before him. Of course, today of all days a Phaeloxian would decide to show up.

"Congratulations, you're the first one to actually find me. Would you like a prize?" Dipper asks in exasperation, slowly reaching for the dagger.

"You would be wise to drop the attitude, Dimension Destroyer. You can either surrender and come with me, or you can try to fight so I can kill you." The demon looks at him with a murderous gaze.

Maybe he's been around Bill too long, or maybe he's starting to crack under the stress. Whatever it is, Dipper shrugs, "You do realize I've never killed anything bigger than a squirrel, and that was unintentional. I highly doubt I'd be able to do what you guys are so convinced I'm supposed to be capable of."

"That's not what matters. You are the chosen of the stars, you will be our demise if we don't eliminate you. If you resist, if you run, we will find that sister of yours and kill her too."

Dipper's chest clenches in anger and he grabs his dagger, "I'm gonna give you one chance to take that back."

The hell demon before him smirks, "Perhaps we'll kill her after you just for the fun of it."

Dipper doesn't know what comes over him, but he loses all sense of reality as a vaguely familiar feeling washes over him.

Bill is listening to Stan and Ford fighting for the third time today when he senses something. Mabel seems to notice and looks at him expectantly.

"Stay here and keep them occupied." Bill says before leaving. He can tell Dipper's close so there's no use in draining himself just to teleport.

He hears a voice, "...we will find that sister of yours and kill her too." Shit, this isn't going to end well. When he finally finds Dipper, the boy is too focused on the Phaeloxian to notice him, until he isn't.

The spell comes out of Dipper's mouth naturally, as he charges toward the shocked hell demon. Tackling him to the ground, stabbing him multiple times, and taunting him, "I really didn't care about your fucking dimension, but now, I think I'm gonna enjoy tearing it apart."

When Bill finally recovers, he quickly steps forward, grabbing Dipper and throwing the dagger to the side. "Look, Dipper, look at me. He's dead, okay? You need to calm down."

The chaos god relaxes when he sees the clouds leave Dipper's eyes, the boy's body almost slumping in exhaustion. He looks at his work and Bill expects him to start panicking, instead he laughs lightly as his eyes flutter, "I forgot how good it feels to just go crazy every once in a while."

Bill watches him in shock, any ordinary human would have died casting that spell. "Are you okay? That spell is extremely complex, without some sort of talisman to abdorb the backlash-"

"I'm fine, just tired," He responds, head falling onto the dream demon's chest.

Bill looks him over, no shit, the kid just cursed his dagger while sleep deprived. He sighs, picking Dipper up bridal style and teleporting to his room. The dream demon lays him down, casting a simple sleep spell on the boy. He lifts his bangs, looking at the birthmark sadly.

"Fucking bastards," He sighs, sitting on the window seat glaring at the night sky.

Mabel heads upstairs to wait for Bill to bring her brother back, stopping when she hears the demon's voice through the closed door.

"You have servants everywhere, you don't need him. I know what you assholes are planning, but I'm not gonna let it happen. You can't have him, he's been through too much. So take your blessing and shove it up your high and mighty asses."

Is he talking to the stars? Aren't they the reason Dipper's alive? She opens the door, "I was just coming to wait for you guys, it's he okay?" She asks, seeing the blood on her brother.

Bill studies her, "Yeah, it's not his. He got a little to close to the guy I killed."

She nods, unconvinced, "And why is he asleep at nine?"

"Sleep spell, he needs to get more rest if he's gonna protect himself."

Mabel crosses the room and sits next to Bill, "Why are you doing all of this? After everything you've done to this family, especially to Dipper."

Bill looks away, "I don't know. This body, it comes with emotions and thoughts that previously, were never a thing."

"Or maybe you never noticed them before. World domination doesn't really seem like the time to explore emotions."

That seems to catch his attention as his gaze shifts to her sleeping brother.

"Listen," She continues, "There's obviously something going on. Just... don't hurt him. He doesn't need to add heartbreak to the list."

Bill looks at her again, he still didn't seem to understand the emotions he's having, but he does understand her sentiment.

"Yeah, okay." He responds.

"Okay, and don't tell him I was in here. I'm still mad at him."

The demon chuckles and gives her a thumbs up as she leaves. As she walks down the stairs she argues with herself, being a hopeless romantic only has is perks when it doesn't involve a demon who tried to kill your family. On the other hand, Bill does seem to have changed. She shakes her head, everything always works out, he'll probably leave when the Phaeloxian issue is resolved.
