I wake up to the smell of pancakes and firewood. I'm snuggled up in a warm bed and turn to see the stranger from before cooking me breakfast. "Mornin darling" he says. I get up to join him and we get to talking.
"What was that wind earlier," I asked.
"Those are twisters, bbg, and we're gonna chase
em"
I'm confused what he means about "chasing twisters" but I feel like it's better to follow along. I mean, Idek where I am, and this man seems trust worthy. We get in his red truck. He tells me that he feels the wind and the moisture starting to arise. OH NO I thought, NOT THE WIND AGAIN. I shake in fear. "Don't fret my beautiful queen," he says, "I'm here now." I feel comforted. We race towards the twisters trying to get a good look at the center and the size. I feel my adrenaline kicking in, and excitement takes over my body. I tell him the stop the car, and I get out, running towards the twister. I see a glowing light in the center. I know it's dangerous, but it's calling me. "Girl! What are you doing," the stranger says. "I'm sorry! I have to go!" As I make my way towards the twister I hear a dazzling beat and a synth. I can't tell where it's coming from. I feel vibrations from underneath me as the words "casual," drift through the air. The twister subsides and falls to the ground. I'm genuinely confused. Like wtf? I turned back to the man as he urges me to go back to him. We walk back into the city of Dublin and walk into Temple Bar. "I feel like I should tell you my name," he says. "Please." "I'm Glen, Glen Powell" "nice to meet you Glen, I'm y/n," you reply. "So what was that earlier," I ask, "the twister?""…
He looks down and sighs, "it's difficult"
he looks back towards me, meeting me eyes.
"To simplify it, I would just call it a force of nature" he says. We chat for the rest of the night at the temple bar. As people filed out of the bar, we realize it's time to lead. Glen's muscled hand guides me outside and we walk back toward his home. As we reach the door to his home, he turns back towards me.
"there's only one bed" glen states
"okay" I respond
Glen plops his large body into bed and I go down to the cellar to grab clothes. I step down the creaky stairs, gripping onto the grimy metal handrail. The house is silent, but I hear a distant hum. Is that coming from downstairs?? I continue down the stairs and approach the door to the cellar. I push the door open slowly, peering in. A faint pink glow lights up the cellar. I open the door wider and stand in shock. A dog cage lays in the center of the cellar, a faint glowing mirage of a woman lay there. She hums, as she weeps into her hands.
"hello?" I ask
The woman turns around quickly, whipping her red hair over her shoulder. Her eyes widen with shock
"hello? are you real?" she whispers
I walk closer to her, hoping to see more clearly, but she still appears as a projection or ghost.
" i'm real. why are you here in glens cellar??" I question.
"Please help me. I've been trapped! Holy fuck! Help!" she weeps
she grips the bars of the dog cage, hanging her head low. I crouch down and grab the bars of the cage. She raises her head, tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Please help me!!!!!" she whispers
Thoughts race through my head. Why would Glen have this woman locked up in his cellar? She must be dangerous, glen is too kind and sexy to do anything like this.
