Life for Mileena was very quiet as of now. She was pushed out of her country. Some could argue she was in shock? It had only been a few weeks but she was just numb. Jax had been trying his hardest to get her talking but I suppose he has had a lot on his plate. She was in the kitchen drinking some apple juice as she heard the bustling noise of the club. She had woken up pretty nicely. The covers were tucked under her keeping her cozy and warm. She didn't remember how she'd managed to do that asleep but a win is a win.

"Hey Leelee" Juice sang out as he came walking through with his laptop in his arms. It caused her to jump but she laughed nevertheless.

"Hey juicy" the nickname causing a laugh to escape the man. He reached behind her and pulled out some cookies from the cupboard before sticking one in his mouth and leaning back so he was in front of her.

"Whatcha thinking about?" He muffled out as the cookie was crumbling around in his mouth. Mileena laughed as she put her glass down before turning to face him fully.

"Just how much things have changed I suppose" her English accent thick and heavy.

Juice stared for a few seconds before replying.

"I know... things will get better I promise. It won't stay ...this boring" he smiled.

Things had gone pretty slow around here. The updates of the IRA whereabouts were slow. The club knew something or someone else was involved in the massacre of the SoA branch. They just needed to find out who. And of course, Mileena was being shut out of all of this. She didn't even know they were looking for anyone. She was just trying to get over Jennifer Teller dying. Her dear mother who sacrificed everything for her daughter.

*MILEENA POV*

I looked up at Juice, his smile seemed sincere so I just sighed. I appreciated and was very, very grateful at what the club has done for me.

I took another sip of my apple juice and placed it in the sink. Hm Maya can deal with that. I know it seems petty but why did she have to go and sleep with Happy. She could get all the men here. Why did it bother me?

I smiled at him and decided to go and face the club. I've been keeping a low profile for a few days. Some of the men were worried, some were glad. Ugh. Why does Clay act like a child all the time? Stupid man.

I walked out the kitchen and looked around. Not much was going on as most the men were out on club business.

I saw Tara cradling Abel at the bar. I finally got to see the baby that shook this place up. He was adorable but looked exactly like Jax. She looked up at me and smiled.

"Hey you must be Mileena?"

"Y-yes" I nervously smiled back. I walked closer to her and took a seat next to her.

"Are you settling in here good?" Tara asked. It took me back, she was so kind and gentle.

"Uh yeah I like it here" I replied with a wide smile. She the first woman to actually be nice to me. She rocked Abel back and forth while she spoke to me. My heart warmed at the sight of her taking care of a baby that wasn't even hers.

"That's good, Jax always loved his aunt. He was devastated when she left for England. He's just glad you're here safe."

Her words shocked me. It just made me realise how lucky I was to be here. The pain Jax must have felt reading the letter knowing he was never going to see my mother again.
