Jax's phone buzzed in his pocket just as he and the boys were unwrapping the gun van, the tarp making a soft swish as it hit the ground. He glanced at the screen, seeing Gemma's name flash across it. His brow furrowed as he answered. "Mom?"

"Jax, we've got a problem," Gemma's voice was clipped, businesslike. "It's Tristan. She's been attacked, hurt bad. They've already taken her to the hospital."

Jax's hand tightened around the phone, but he stayed calm. "Shit. Do we know who did it?"

"No, not yet. But we can't let whoever did this get away. I want you boys back here, now. We need to figure this out."

Jax sighed, already feeling the weight of another problem on their shoulders. "Alright, we're on our way." He hung up, shoving the phone into his pocket. "Pack it up," he called to the others. "We've got to get back to the carnival."

Juice looked up, wiping his hands on his jeans. "What's going on?"

"Tristan got attacked. She's at the hospital, but Gemma wants us back to figure out what happened."

Clay's eyes narrowed, a scowl crossing his face. "Jesus, just what we need. Who's this gonna piss off?"

"Doesn't matter," Jax said, his voice firm. "Someone messed with our town. We need to show people they can't do that."

The Sons moved quickly, the usual chatter and jokes replaced by a focused silence. As they secured the guns, Jax ran a hand through his hair, trying to keep his thoughts clear. Whoever had attacked Tristan wasn't just a threat to her; they were a threat to the town, to SAMCRO's control. They had to handle this before it got out of hand.

Jax swung onto his bike, kicking it into gear. "Let's go," he called over his shoulder, the roar of the engines filling the air. They tore out of the lot, speeding toward the carnival with single-minded determination. The roar of their bikes filled the air. Happy felt a strange knot in his chest. He couldn't shake the thought of Mileena—back at the carnival, where this attack had happened. The thought of her being caught up in any danger made his stomach tighten, though he kept his face impassive.

Jax kicked his bike into gear, glancing over his shoulder at the others. "Let's move. Gemma's counting on us to get this sorted."

Happy nodded along with the rest of the guys, though his mind kept drifting back to Mileena. He knew she was with Gemma, but that didn't erase the worry gnawing at him. He gripped the handlebars tighter, focusing on the road ahead as they sped back toward the carnival.

The ride there was tense and silent. Each of the Sons was lost in his own thoughts, the weight of the situation pressing down on them. When they arrived at the carnival, they parked their bikes quickly, moving through the entrance like a small army. The bright lights and cheerful music of the carnival felt out of place against the tension that hung in the air.

Jax spotted Gemma near the food stalls, her face a mix of anger and determination. He headed straight for her, the rest of the Sons following.

Gemma didn't waste any time. "Mileena found her in the woods, hurt bad. Cops are at the hospital now, but they don't have a clue who did it. We need to find out, fast."

Jax nodded. "Alright, we'll start asking around. Someone must've seen something."

The Sons began spreading out, scanning the crowd, looking for anyone who might have seen something—or someone who looked out of place. As they moved, Happy couldn't help but think of Mileena again. She and Gemma were out here somewhere, and he wanted to find them, make sure they were okay.

He started through the crowd, his eyes sharp, catching every detail. It didn't take long before he spotted Mileena near one of the game booths, standing beside Gemma. Relief washed over him at the sight of her, safe and unharmed. He kept his face neutral, though, as he made his way over to them.
