— Kai's POV —

After she left, i decided to come up with a plan, so i can sneak up to the forest, and maybe Lloyd will be there. What's the worst thing that can happen? Oh! When you go back and you didnt find LLoyd but a wild dragon, who hates humans, and will kill and eat you. Wait Kai. Think positive. I tried but i cant. Whatever. I told Nya that i wont go back, but we both know thats a lie. I borrowed the book, and i went to my room. It was Saturday. One day from the training. When i wanted to head to my room, i overheard a conversation. I was actually curious so i went to the direction of the voices and my eyes windened.

Nya - please father. I wanna train too. Look, i know that im a girl and all but that doesnt mean i weak. Please, just let me help him.

Our father took a deep sigh and looked over to her wife. Mom smiled and nodded while i can sense that da- i mean father was worried. I was still just listened it hiding behind a wall.

Ray - you conviced me. I dont mind but be careful.

She cheered and hugged both of her parents.

Nya - thank you so much!!!!

she left them and noticed me. I quickly ran to my room and she followed me. She knocked on my door and she teased me.

Nya - Kaiiiiii i know you in there~

i opened the door with an embrassing face.

Kai - what?!

she giggled.

Nya - i will help you in the training! I know you dont wanna kill dragons but we need to. You remember when we read the book 5 minitues ago? You saw that all of them said "kill on sight" and we dont have a choise. Unlike you, i dont wanna make dad dissapointed. Neither mom.

I just look at the floor and slowly looking up.

Kai - me either but i just dont have the heart to kill a dragon y'know?

She pointed to my chest while talking:

Nya - then find a heart because we need to kill at least one.

and with that she left. I could feel a tear slowly slips down on my face, and it was like that Nya stabbed a dagger on my back. I felt betrayed. I slowly went back to my room and i read the book more.

Kai mind - please tell me that youre guys are nothing like this book. I have faith and i hope i can prove everyone that dragons arent bad...
