✨ANGST✨

• No happy ending 😬✌🏻

• The story is probably all over the place.

• If you're confused, so am I.

• I feel like I didn't explain and properly worded Chay's feelings like how I want it to be. I'm sorry in advance.

• This was inspired by Stray Kids' song, I Like It.

They grew up together, with houses beside each other and their parents being good friends.
They first met when Kim was 7 and Porchay was 6, when Kim and his family moved into a new neighborhood, and he was welcomed by Porchay's doe eyes shining right at him and those chubby cheeks with a natural tint of redness in them. The kid asked him, "Do you play Legos?" sounding so shy while pulling the hem of Kim's shirt.

With only a year apart—Kim being older than Chay—both of them grew closer together, faster than their brothers did. They were occasionally teased by their parents being twins from different mothers; they were glued to each other.

They went to the same elementary school, attended high school together, and Kim welcomed Porchay at the university during Chay's first day in college.

Kim knew Porchay from the back of his hand, and Porchay knew how Kim felt with just one look in his eyes.

The two of them were so close that even their parents thought they didn't need to force them into marriage anymore. "Don't you think Kim and Chay would make a perfect pair?" Kim's mother once asked Porchay's mom as they both watered their respective backyards.

And within their small circle of friends at the university, their friends are all so used to them clinging to each other. From Porchay pecking Kim's cheeks whenever he wants to—to Kim wrapping his arms around Porchay's waist every time he's stressed out—.

Students ship them together, and possible suitors back off even before they make a move with how possessive Kim and Chay are with each other.

Those things became so normal for everyone around them that they are so sure Kim and Porchay are going to end up together.

But they're just best friends.

Friends who act like lovers.

More than friends, but less than lovers.

They kiss, hug, and cling to each other like lovers. They're possessive of one another, protective, and caring at the same time.

The only problem is that they're both so comfortable with what they have now that they don't think they have to cross the line between being friends and lovers.
