10 seconds before & after midnight the lights will turn off and you can do whatever you want during that time.

Kim and Chay found themselves in a soft kiss on the first seconds of Christmas day.

But...

Don't they hate each other?

Hi! it's been months since I last uploaded my little stories here but I tried making an AU from a first person's point of view. I don't know if it turned out okay, but I do hope y'all like it.

Merry Christmas everyone!! 🎄

PORCHAY PICHAYA KITTISAWAT'S POV

"Porchay! Get dressed!" Ohm screamed as he barged inside my room. "You know P'Win?" That senior from our faculty who is rumored to be the richest in town? Of course I know him. "He is hosting an open house party tonight, and everyone from the faculty of music is invited!" Ohm added as he flopped on my bed. His arm goes under his head, evidently relaxed like he owns it.

"I don't think it's a good idea, Ohm," I said, not that I don't want to go, it's just that... I'm not fond of crowded places, and if it's a house party—a Christmas house party—to be exact, there would be a lot of people for sure. "P'Win didn't even invite us," I reasoned out.

Ohm suddenly sat up on my bed, his arms crossed over his chest after throwing a pillow towards me. "It's a house party, dumbo! Everyone from our faculty is welcome to attend."

"But..." I already have plans for Christmas eve—to sleep. I wanted to say it to Ohm, but I know that my best friend will only curse at me for being a homeboy and just wasting the fun of Christmas Eve.

"No buts, Chay!" Ohm goes to my closet; he starts rummaging inside. "Wear this!" He said, throwing my sweater on my face. "Let's celebrate Christmas with our faculty-mates instead of letting yourself rot in bed at midnight."

I guess I really have no choice. I gave in. Ohm has a point; it's our first year in university and our first time celebrating Christmas on our own; we might as well attend the party and enjoy the evening.

When we reach P'Win's house, it's almost midnight, just thirty minutes left before Christmas. The music was blaring all throughout the whole house; there were cars lined up and parked outside, people drinking in the garden, and people playing games on different tables. Once you step inside the house, the sound of the music gets louder; there are people dancing in the living room, some were eating and drinking in the kitchen, and there were even seniors making out by the hallway. A lot of things are happening at the same time, and it's really overwhelming, especially to me, who hasn't been to any house parties.

I tried to be as invisible as possible, minding my own business as I sat at the very last step of the stairs—away from the people. It's not that I don't want to socialize and get to know my faculty-mates, but everything is just overwhelming to me: the different voices talking, the loud music, the screams and laughs overlapping, the sounds of glasses clicking. Maybe I should've really just stayed in our dorm. Maybe I'm really not made for parties.

Not even twenty minutes after arriving at P'Win's house—time is currently 11:50 in the evening—I'm already dreading going home. I stood up from the stairs, where I've been hiding for some time now, looked around for Ohm, and when I saw him enjoying his night with our batch mates, I decided to let him be and just text him that I'll leave early.
