"Big, have you seen Nabi?" Kim asked right after stepping down from the stage.

Kimhan Theerapanyakul, an alpha who dominates the music charts in every corner of Thailand. He just finished his performance at a sold-out mall show as WIK—the singer, the performer, and the version of himself that he prefers the most.

Right after saying goodbye to the crowd of fans screaming for him and his name, he went straight to where he knew he left his daughter—beside his bodyguard, Big.

"She's right here, Khun...." Big turned to his side, but instead of seeing a bubbly and giggly 6-year-old baby girl, he was welcomed with a cold empty chair—no Nabi in sight. "...K-kim."

Kim could see how Big's eyes changed from delight to pure terror. He looked scared, as his temples started sweating in panic.

"Alert all the guards and look for Nabi," Kim calmly instructed, but that calmness is what scares Big the most. The calmer Kimhan is, the deadlier he gets. Big knows that if they don't find Nabi in a matter of hours, his breath will take its last inhale.

Nabi is a 6-year-old girl who is a huge contrast to her father. She's cheerful. Bubbly and friendly. She loves making friends. She loves talking. She loves being surrounded by people. Nabi is a complete sunshine; she brings light into Kimhan's dark and messy life.

Kimhan cherishes her the most, especially with how much he lost during Nabi's birth.

His omega, Porchay, died in childbirth; he was pregnant with twins, and sadly Nabi's twin also didn't make it. Kimhan lost the love of his life and lost a daughter he didn't get to meet. For Kim, Nabi is his miracle—his star. Nabi is the only reminder that he once had an omega and another baby girl.

"Blue, head to the 2nd floor. I remember Nabi saying she liked to go to a toy shop there. Big, go to the 3rd floor; it's where Nabi's favorite pastry shop is. Bank, stay here on the 1st floor, and get three more guards to help you through the crowd. Win, stay here and wait for Nabi; she might come back here herself," Kim instructed his team and manager, his eyes still roaming around the activity area of the mall. "I'll go to the playground; Nabi likes playing there," he added before dismissing his team. "Go!"

Contrary to the continuous squeals and cries from WIK's fans that are surrounding the mall's activity area, Kim and his bodyguards are in sheer panic—running around the mall, passing through the sea of fans, and calling for Nabi's name as if their voices weren't getting overpowered by the high-pitched screams from the crowd.

Kim didn't even have the time to change out of his WIK clothes; he ran out and went straight to the playground. The mall's playground is one of Nabi's favorite places to go to every time they're out. She loves meeting and making new friends with the other kids playing there. Nabi loves having new people to interact with, especially with how overprotective his father tends to be.

There were a lot of kids running around the area. Tons of kids on the ground, playing tag. The swings are all occupied. The slides all have kids of different ages sliding down one after another. It is a very busy and chaotic place, yet Kim finds it familiar with the amount of time he spent there—sitting on one of the benches while watching his daughter laugh with other kids.
