After a long and tiring race weekend, Carlos had decided to unwind by inviting a few friends over to his hotel room for a movie night. He'd sent out casual invites to Lando, Charles, Max, and Checo, suggesting they bring some snacks and drinks to relax and catch up.

But the Spaniard had another reason for wanting a quiet night in. Oscar had been staying with him in his hotel room throughout the weekend, and the two had enjoyed the rare time together, away from the prying eyes of the paddock. They were still figuring things out, keeping their relationship under wraps while they navigated their new reality. But the comfort they found in each other's presence was undeniable, and Oscar had practically moved into Carlos's room by the end of the weekend.

As the time for their friends to arrive drew near, Oscar stirred from where he had been napping on Carlos's bed. The movie night had slipped both their minds, and now they were scrambling to make it look like Oscar hadn't been there the whole time.

"Shit, we don't have much time," Carlos muttered, running a hand through his hair as he glanced around the room. "Let's just focus on the main areas."

Oscar nodded, quickly smoothing out the rumpled bed and tossing a few stray items into the closet. Carlos took care of the living area, straightening up the pillows on the couch and making sure there were no obvious signs that they had been sharing the space.

Just as they were finishing up, a knock on the door echoed through the room. Both of them froze, exchanging a brief, panicked look. Oscar tugged on the hem of his shirt—only to realize he was still wearing Carlos's hoodie. He had borrowed it earlier in the day and hadn't thought to change out of it.

Carlos noticed the hoodie at the same time, his eyes widening in realization. "You're still wearing my hoodie."

Oscar's cheeks flushed, and he glanced down at the oversized garment, the familiar scent of Carlos lingering on the fabric. "I forgot to change," he whispered, feeling a mix of embarrassment and affection.

Before they could figure out what to do, the door swung open, and Lando waltzed in, followed by Charles, Max, and Checo. Lando's sharp eyes immediately landed on Oscar, taking in the hoodie that was unmistakably Carlos's.

"Hey, guys!" Lando called out cheerfully. But then his expression shifted to one of mischievous curiosity. "Wait a minute... is that Carlos's hoodie you're wearing, Oscar?"

Oscar froze, a deer caught in headlights, while Carlos shot Lando a warning look. But it was too late. The rest of the group had noticed the hoodie too, and a slow grin spread across Lando's face as he put two and two together.

"Something you want to share with the class?" Lando teased, raising an eyebrow with his signature smile on display.

Charles, Max, and Checo exchanged glances, their own curiosity piqued by Lando's insinuation. "What's going on here?" Charles asked, his tone light but his eyes watchful.

Carlos tried to play it off, though he could feel the tension in the room rising. "Nothing's going on. Oscar just borrowed my hoodie because it's comfortable."

Oscar nodded quickly, hoping to defuse the situation. "Yeah, it's really cold in here, so I grabbed the first thing I saw."

Lando wasn't buying it. He stepped closer, a knowing smirk on his lips. "Come on, guys. We're your friends. You don't have to hide anything from us."

Max chimed in, his voice dripping with amusement. "Yeah, we're not blind, you know. There's something going on between you two, isn't there?" Since he and Lando had found about the couple they sometimes teased them about it, trying to embarrass the Aussie and Spaniard.

Carlos and Oscar exchanged a glance, silently debating their next move. The truth was hanging in the air, and their friends were clearly on the verge of figuring it out on their own, at least Charles and Checo. They had two options: keep up the little play or come clean.

Carlos could see the uncertainty in Oscar's eyes, but there was also a hint of resolve. He knew Oscar was nervous about how their friends would react, but he also knew that hiding their relationship was only going to get harder. Ans since Max and Lando already knew it would only be two more people to come clean to.

Finally, Carlos made a decision. With a small, reassuring smile, he reached out and gently grabbed the cord of the hoodie Oscar was wearing. He gave it a soft tug, pulling Oscar closer to him.

Oscar's breath caught in his throat as Carlos closed the distance between them. The tension in the room was palpable, their friends watching with bated breath as Carlos leaned in and pressed his lips to Oscar's in a deep, loving kiss.

It was a kiss that spoke volumes—about their feelings for each other, about the connection they shared, and about their willingness to be open about it, even if it meant facing the reactions of those around them.

For a moment, the world seemed to stand still. The kiss was slow and tender, yet full of the passion and emotions they had been holding back for so long. Oscar's heart raced as he melted into the kiss, his arms instinctively wrapping around Carlos's neck.

When they finally broke apart, they were both slightly breathless, but the weight of secrecy had lifted. Oscar looked into Carlos's eyes, finding reassurance there, and then turned to face their friends.

Lando was the first to react, clapping his hands together with a wide grin. "Finally! I knew it!!"

Charles chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. "I have to admit, I didn't see that happening this fast. But I'm happy for you both."

Max nodded, a satisfied smile on his face. "Yeah, you guys make a good couple. No need to hide it from us. And Lando of course you knew, you know for some time now, idiot."

Checo, always the calm and supportive one, simply gave them a thumbs-up. "Congrats, you two."

Oscar blushed but smiled, feeling a wave of relief wash over him. The nervousness that had been gnawing at him dissipated as he realized that their friends were genuinely supportive.

Carlos wrapped an arm around Oscar's shoulders, pulling him close. "Thanks, guys. We weren't sure how you'd react, but it's good to know you've got our backs."

Lando shrugged, still grinning like the Cheshire Cat. "Of course we do! Now, can we finally start the movie, or are you two going to keep making out?"

Oscar laughed, feeling lighter than he had in days. "We can start the movie. But no promises about the making out part."

Everyone laughed, the tension completely dissolved as they settled into the room. Lando immediately took the best seat on the couch, while Charles and Max sprawled out on the floor with snacks.

Carlos kept Oscar close, their fingers intertwined as they found a spot on the couch. It felt good to be open about their relationship, and even better to know they had the support of their friends.

As the movie began to play, Oscar leaned into Carlos's side, feeling content and happy. They had taken a big step that night, and it felt like the beginning of something even more special.

Carlos kissed the top of Oscar's head, whispering softly so only he could hear. "We can start over as soon as they leave." He playfully winked at the younger driver.

As the night went on, they all laughed, joked, and enjoyed each other's company, the closeness between Carlos and Oscar now fully out in the open. And as the credits rolled on the movie, the couple knew they had nothing to hide and everything to look forward to.
