Vivan pov

I walked into the restaurant with my cousin Shreya, looking forward to a relaxing lunch break from my busy schedule as a doctor. As we were led to our table, I noticed a familiar face - Karan he was sitting with Gowen," he never leaves him alone but why ?"I thought, and there was another man who appeared to be his secretary, Aadvik. They are here for buisness meeting cause there are many people on their table.

I moved ahead with Shreya she was all happy to have a good treat from me ,as we ordered our food, I couldn't help but notice Karan's caring and kind nature towards Gowen . He was patient, loving, and attentive, making sure the little one was comfortable and happy. I found myself drawn to his warm demeanor.

"Vivi Vivi "Gowen shouted from his table making everyone on the table turn to me ."Yes buddy how are you doing."I asked him "Vivi I mitt you ","I know baby I missed you too."Thank God he didn't call me Pops here otherwise it would be so embarrassing for me to face all these people sitting here ,this cute kid is really smart despite his age he knew very well that where we should be formal and where he should call me by nicknames. I love this kid .

"Good afternoon, Dr Vivan I am so sorry for disturbance","It's fine Mr Karan it's good to meet my cute little buddy once and I missed him too, I should apologise for disturbing your meeting ",It's fine doc nothing to worry," Gowen was pulling Karan's shirt as if he wanted to say something to him Karan was very attentive towards Gowen he bent down to listen Gowen he was smiling and listening to Gowen I wonder what Gowen said to make him smile like this by the way he was looking so handsome while smiling.

I bid farewell to Gowen and Karan and returned to my table where Shreya was smiling at me creepily "So Mr Vivan did you fall for someone just now.","What are saying Shreya are you out of your mind","I am out of my mind , oh come on you were smiling like crazy person and looking at that handsome man and blushing hard your cheeks are red until now and you are calling me crazy , idiot!","There is no such thing focus on your food" I tried to change the topic.

As we finished our meal and prepared to leave, I went to the billing counter to pay for our bill there I was Karan and his secretary Aadvik talking with each other in a corner like I can see and hear them but they can't see me and I overheard Karan's conversation with Aadvik. Aadvik asked him what did Gowen tell him to make him smile so much at that time Karan replied him by telling that Gowen told him that he loves me and he wants Karan to marry him and bring him in his house and make me Gowen's Pops. My heart skipped a beat as I heard Aadvik and Karan conversation . Aadvik even asked him that do you like Vivan he said that" Yes I love him " Karan's response, though hesitant, revealed his own feelings.

I felt my face flush as Shreya noticed me she started teasing me mercilessly. "Vivan's got a crush! Vivan's got a crush!" she sang, trying to contain her giggles.

I playfully rolled my eyes and ushered her out of the restaurant, trying to maintain my composure. As we drove home, Shreya continued to poke fun at me, but I couldn't help but smile, my mind replaying the encounter with Karan.

Maybe, just maybe, this chance meeting would lead to something more.
