What a pathetic nightmare...

"It looks like you can do total concentration! Constant! I'm impressed! Our little demon slayer is making progress, isn't he, Iguro"? Rengoku asked, shifting his attention from the Kamado boy he was leaning over to the Serpent hashira.

He could only roll his eyes without saying a word. The Flame hashira just laughed at his behavior. Typical Iguro.

"Ren-goku-san, Iguro-san..." Tanjiro, still slightly dazed, mumbled weakly.

"That's the first step to becoming a hashira! But that's just the first of 10,000 steps yet to come"! Rengoku shone proudly, feeling like a true mentor to the boy.

"I'll do my best". Assured the boy, looking upside down at the two hashiras, what made him more dizzy.

"Ugh, save your strength, fool, can't you see you're bleeding"? Iguro asked, pointing to a spot on his body that was soaked in blood.

"Iguro is right! Your stomach is bleeding. Concentrate more. Improve the accuracy of your breath. Focus on every inch of your body". Tanjiro tried to calm his breathing with Kyojurou words.

"There are blood vessels. Broken blood vessels. Concentrate". Seeing that Tanjiro still couldn't stop the bleeding, Iguro moved closer to his side and lightly nudged his shoulder with his leg.

"Focus, demon slayer. You stopped the killing of your sister, stop this stupid bleeding too". He looked down at him, moving his leg away to let him focus.

"Come on Kamado." Rengoku placed his finger on his forehead. Tanjiro focused once again very carefully. And this time it worked.

"That's it. No more bleeding". He praised him, making his figure shine even brighter.

Iguro cleared his throat and looked away, fearing he would go blind from his shining optimism.

He looked around, looking strangely concerned.

He still felt the demons in the air. But maybe it was because they were right next to a forest full of demons.

He ignored it and turned his attention back to Rengoku. He was too mentally tired today to think about anything.

"There're  lot's of things you can do if you can master your breathing. That's doesn't mean you can do anything. But you you'll be much stronger than you were yesterday". Kyojurou explained, earning an admiring look from Tanjiro.
