Y/n, along with Tomioka, Shinobu and Kanao, finally arrived at the mansion after a long and tiring journey. Little girl felt a strange tension in the air, which only confirmed her suspicions that something had happened.
The girl was very tired, but she had no intention of complaining. She always tried to be strong, just like her dad. She looked at her companions, feeling their support, but also knowing that something was wrong.
As soon as they entered the mansion's gate, Aoi ran to meet them. She was slightly out of breath, as if she had just finished running. Her face showed seriousness and concern, which little y/n noticed immediately. The girl's heart began to beat faster and the worst possible scenarios began to circle in her head.
"Shinobu-san, thank God you're finally here!" Aoi sighed in relief as she came closer. "I need your help. Iguro-san and Rengoku-san have returned from their mission along with the other demon slayers, but they are injured, and we can't handle it on our own." Aoi blurted out, quickly turning around and leading Shinobu to the injured pillars and Kamaboko's squad.
Y/n, on the other hand, stood frozen as Shinobu quickly rushed towards the mansion. A shiver of fear ran through her little body. The word "wounded" embedded itself in her thoughts and echoed, causing her indescribable fear. She imagined her dad fighting demons and then falling down injured... the image was too terrifying.
"Daddy…" Y/n whispered, grabbing Tomioka's sleeve. "Uncle, let's go! I want to see dad... Please, let's go, please..."! Y/n was tugging at his sleeve, wanting to get to her father as quickly as possible.
Giyu knelt in front of her, placing a hand on her shoulder. Smiling gently, trying to convey her peace, yet he felt her weight on him as well.
"Y/n, I know you're worried, but you have to trust aunt Kocho. Your dad is in good hands. He now needs her full concentration to help both him and Rengoku. I promise everything will be fine, but you have to let her do what she does best. You know that there is no better doctor than her, right?
