Everythings a blur, I dont know when we reached kingslanding, but I know Aegon climbed onto Meraxes to help me down. There are shouts and whispers around me as I occasionally shout and yelp in pain.
"Will he be alright maester?" Alicents worried voice echoes in my head as I moan in pain trying to open my eyes but they only flutter
"He will scar and be in great pain, but if her survives infection he will be fine."
"M-mother? Mmmmother?" I whimper out.
"Im right here my darling, Im right here."
"Dont leave me, dont leav-" I cut myself off when my brain turns off.
I wake with a groan, and then something squeezes my hand. I wrench my eyes open and look to my left to see Alicent smiling down at me gently with relief in her eyes.
I scan the room, to see my whole family, Amond, Aegon, Helena and even Jaehaera.
"Hey." I whisper out and everyone jumps up from where they were sitting to greet me with relief in their eyes. Aegon comes to stand next to his mother to my left.
"Hey, Im sorry, I should've never come. If I would have listened to you, you wouldn't have gotton hurt." Aegon says and I sigh and reach my hand to trace his face.
"I'll be okay, wont I?" I ask and he nods with tears in his eyes.
Helena walks to the other side of the bed and Jaehaera reaches out to me. I chuckle.
"We were all very worried." Helena speaks and I smile.
"Can't get rid of me that easily." I tell her and she smiles at me.
I wince as I try to sit up and Aemond strides over next to Helena and helps me sit up.
"You shouldnt be moving." Alicent worries and places a hand gently to my chest to try and steady me.
I hold my arms out for Jaehaera who fusses for me. Helena gently hands her to me and I smile down at the girl sat on my lap.
"We made good work, Meleys is dead, meaning Rhaenyra only had one dragon with battle experience who has a rider, the playing field is evening out." I speak up.
"All we have to really worry about now is Daemon and his dragon. The rest of their dragons haven't seen battle and are small." Aemond speaks up and I nod.
"We should keep an eye on the other dragons, Vermithor, Silverwing, and Seasmoke. Rhaena never claimed a dragon and desires one, if she was to claim Vermithor or Silverwing, we would be at a great disadvantage considering their size." I speak up and Alicent nods.
"Lets not worry about that at the moment, you should only worry about healing." Alicent says and I tickle Jaehaeras side.
"I'll let you rest and inform others of your recovery." Alicent says and kisses the top of my head before leaving.
