6| Archie:POVx2

He was feeling low for days now. As he knew she disliked it he tried to keep safe distance from her. He looked at her just enough for him to survive.He would often find himself in his room writing his pain and sorrow, her in his diary. It was weekend she did not came today. So he came back home too. After dinner he was now sitting alone.

Her grandparents were not unaware of his sorrow. He heard his grandpa coming in. He quickly wiped his tears.

He could see that he was crying and writing something. He sat on his bed.

Grandpa: "You came back early today."

Archie: "I was not feeling good. So..."

Grandpa: "Did I ever tell you that your Grandma and I even your parents had arranged kinda marriage. You know when you marry the one you can find. It's safe to say that I loved someone else and your grandma too and so on. It was hard for me and your grandma accepting each other and making peace with it. You know son! Human beings are really ungrateful , they are never satisfied especially when it does not get something it wanted. But we gradually became friends."

Archie: "Why did not you and grandma married who they loved then?"

Grandpa: " What can the reason be? Maybe world, maybe opposition, maybe differences, maybe status, maybe society I can list a million reasons why. In my case I can list too. But you know what I learnt from all of that I think if I would have at least tried then maybe I would not have suffered and made your grandma suffer too. If I would have made an attempt at least. But I am a guy with excuses and reasons."

Archie: " I love a girl. She is not a princess she is a vamp. She is really harsh and bad. She is really rich too she owns my bar. I wanted to spend more time with her and I know I am no hero. I wanted to be an errand guy for her. I am really petty."

Grandpa: "There are no merits and labels in love it's simply love and why are you no hero?"

Archie: "Look at me grandpa heroes are not like this."

Grandpa: " Heroes are like what then?"

Archie: "They are handsome, usually rich and successful and important etc."

Grandpa: "All I hear are some factors. I think you can try to get these factors at least if you really love."

Archie: "Its impossible and even if I will someday. She will still never sees me."

Grandpa: "Why?"

Archie: "She rejected me brutally. She hates poor people. I am no less than an insect for her. She is just a wrong girl."

Grandpa: "There is no right or wrong in love son. Anyway relax. Whatever happens nothing happens remember."

Archie: "Okay!"

He left him in there. It was almost midnight when he had a call from an unknown number. He quickly grabbed it with a beating heart.

"Hello!"

"It's Anna is this manager ... ugh I do not remember your name. Anyway I can send you my location. Can you pick me up. Police are about to come here. I cannot get caught. Luckily I had this card in my purse. I am not asking, remember it I will fire you if I will get caught." She was totally panicking.

"Okay I am coming."

He quickly took his hoodie and ran out. He took his grandpa's bike and drive away. He was not a good driver. But it was his only chance and he could not loose it. He was worried about her as well. He could not imagine her in any article in a dress like she used to wear. It would be highly inappropriate. It was away from the city too.

Finally he reached that place. It was a big palace dazzling with lights. He followed map that made him to take his bike to the back side. She was standing in front of the back gate in her usual vulgar dresses.He could see almost all of her body. Gate was locked. He removed his helmet and went near the gate.

Anna: "What are you staring at you bastard? Why are you so late? Anyway put your hands across the gate. I will step on it and jump." She shouted

He quickly did as she said. He was in a squat position. She stood on his hands and after much effort she was finally able to jump on the other side. They both lose their balance at once and she fell on him. Her dress got dirty with mud.. She was on top of him. She quickly stood up.

Anna: "You skinny piece of shit how can you not balance a girl. Give me your hood."

He took it out and handed it to her. He actually took it for her. She wore it quickly while he kept staring at her.She quickly punched him. He fell again.

Anna: "Bastard stop staring at my chest and what is this with hood. It's my size. Are you really a man?"

Archie: "Sorry."

Anna: "Start this thing. You could not bring a car. What can I expect anyway."

Archie: "sorry." He quickly turned it on. She sat behind him. It was her first time riding a bike. She held bike handles she did not want to touch him. She was scared and she expressed it all the way to her room by abusing him.

Anna: " If I will fall I swear I will kill you. You poor bastard you cannot bring a car. What is this thing? Is this a toy? If you will drop me I will make your life hell." She was constantly shouting.

Finally they were out of her home. She quickly stood up and threw his hoodie on ground. She quickly pulled him with his collar.

Anna: "If you will tell anything about it I will kill you and your grandparents. Now tell me what you want?"

Archie: "Recruit me!"

Anna: "Alright! Fuck off now!"

She went in. He looked at her until she disappeared. He put his hoodie on. It smelled of her. Now he had a hoodie that smelled like her yay!! He was happiest at the moment. He was at 9th sky. He parked his bike in the garage making sure that nobody would knew. He entered and he saw his grandpa sitting on the couch waiting for him to confess.

Archie: "She recruit me." Happily.

Grandpa: "What did you decide then?"

Archie: "I will try to be useful and to change the factors. I will at least make an attempt."

Grandpa: "Thats my boy!Now go to your room before your grandma will find out."He cheered him and went in.
