14| Small talk

Anna: "So the person who won this is .... Is... "Ray Liam" . Who is this guy?

A man in a black overcoat who looked almost like a homeless guy and had heavy beard. He jumped with happiness as he heard his name.

Anna: "Show me your Id."

She checked his id. She was in the bar today she decided to gift her apartment to a random guy. He was the guy who won it. All of her friends were cheering. In a nick of time she signed the papers and moved away with her usual stuff.
Almost everyone was wasted now. She took control on her drinking tonight. She sneaked into the backroom. Archie was standing there.

Anna: "What do you want?" In a rude tone.

"Here" he handed her a cheque.

Anna: "What is this?"

"Price for the apartment. I used all my savings. Sold my old home. I want to pay."

Anna: "It is a gift for taking care. I do not want your petty money."

Archie: "I cannot take it. It will look like I am a gold digger. I know you do not like favours. In return you can pay me with five minutes whenever you can."

Anna: "Who made you believe that I will do what you will ask and my five minutes are worth more than any apartment."

Archie: "Please keep the cheque."

Anna: "Is the baby okay?"

Archie: "Yes it is. I can show you."

Anna: "Whatever just keep it alive."

She went out. He was still holding cheque. He decided to donate all the money to an orphanage. She made a donation by her name. She met her a week ago. She basically threatened him to keep the baby. He did not knew who was his parents. Maybe hers or not. She wanted him to keep it. Ray Liam was a fake person he was appearing as the baby's father.

He was none other than Archie. She planned everything. God knows how hard it was for him to make his grandparents agree. Her grandma was mostly taking care of it. It was a new born baby. They were shifted to a better apartment. Somehow he was now neglected in his own home. His grandparents were always busy taking care of it.He went home. He opened the door.

Grandma: "Shushh!! He just slept."

Archie: "I am your grandson not him." He was jealous. He sat on the couch next to her.

Grandma: "What should we name it?"

Archie: "Whatever you want."

Grandma: "How about Will?"

Archie: "Cool. Call me Ray remember."

Grandma: "Oh yes! But why are you so upset? Did she shout on you again?"

He was silent. His job was going well it has been over a year now since he met her. She was 2 years older than him. Somehow he has gotten better. A bit muscular though. He was a good 6 on look basis. His job was going well. By now she has visited his home three times and threatened him in front of his grandparents multiple times.

Somehow he was more than ever scared of her. He often wondered if he loved her more or was more terrified of her. He remembered the last time it was a nightmare. He could not dare to piss her.
