1 Month Later

Liv is nine months pregnant and is having her last appointment. Her water hasn't broken yet, according to the doctors, she is only 2 centimeters dilated. However, they sent her on her way. Following Liv's appointment she is hungry and exhausted. She requests that Spencer prepare something for her. After arriving home, they decide to enjoy each other by taking a shower and watching a movie on their cozy couch.

Liv: Is everything set in the baby girl's room?

Spencer: Of course baby! we did everything, you nested everything we have.

Liv: I just want to make sure everything is perfect before she comes.

Spencer: I know liv, and it is.

Liv: I still need to put up the onesie Jordan got her.

Spencer: What did it say again?

Liv: Your favorite uncle is a phone call away.

Spencer: He takes his role really well.

Liv: (laughs) she is not even here yet and he is already calling dibs.

Spencer: Coops toy microphone, we gotta put it in her little toy box.

Liv: Oh right, Patience got her cute outfits with matching bows.

Spencer: She must have got the one that said "sorry daddy, you have two bosses now".

Liv: Yup, and the Personalized Mirrored Ballerina Musical Jewelry Box.

Spencer: She definitely went all out. One of my favorites is my mom's quilt with our dad's on it.

Liv: I love it , I literally cried babe. And my mom's memory book and her leave a space for our baby girl in the back to fill.

Spencer: Darnell snapped on the whole gift basket, It was so much in it.

Liv: I love everything in it, Layla's idea for the keepsake box was cute.

Spencer: Dillon drawing of the baby's hand is mine is perfectly hung on the wall.

Liv: RiRi had me in tears with this bear with our baby girl's heartbeat inside.

They concluded their conversation by remembering the gifts from the baby shower. But shortly after, they fell asleep. They slept till liv woke up in horrible pain and rushes to the bathroom, Spencer follows. They start to sway like they're slow dancing as she wraps her arms around his neck. Since their parents arrived two days earlier, Spencer calls out their mothers' names for help with assisting her.

Grace: What's going on baby?

Laura: Everything is alright baby girl, we are going to breathe through it.

Spencer: She woke up and came into the bathroom.

Liv: I think...my- (she feels her water break) IT'S TIME!

Spencer: Oh shit! Let's stay calm baby.

Liv: Spencer...what do you THINK I'M DOING?!

Spencer: You are right I'm sorry I'll just go call your midwife and get you water.

Laura: Honey, I need you to take deep slow breaths.

Grace: (rubs liv's back) your doing great

Spencer: Here drink some (helps her drink water) , your midwife is on her way.

The midwife gets there and she has liv start sitting in the pool filled with warm water. Encourage and giving her emotional support. While monitoring her progress and suggesting more strategies to help. Spencer gets in the water with liv helping her remain calm. While Grace and Laura are helping doing the breathing exercises. While she is positioned forward and resting on a comfy prop for support, they play music to help her stay calmed.

Liv: (she looks and cries) Spencer I'm scared.

Spencer: (holds her hand) baby you got this, I know because you are so strong.

Liv: I can't Spencer, it hurts.

Spencer: (rubs her back) breathe in...and out breathe in... then out.

Liv: (breaths in and out with him) I love you and she does too.

Spencer: I love y'all more than anything.

The midwife kept an eye on the baby's heart rate and other important indicators. The intensity of the contractions has been increasing every minute. At that point, it was time to prepare Liv for pushing. Grace and Laura gather around getting ready to support through this process.

Spencer: You got this baby!

Gisella: It's time to start pushing.

Liv: I CAN'T

Spencer: Yes you can.

Spencer is there to hold her hand through it as Liv begins to push, tightly grasping his hand.

Liv: AHHH FUCK.

Gisella: We're finally seeing her head.

Spencer: THAT'S MY BABY, LETS GOOO.

Gisella: Keep pushing Olivia.

Laura: Come on baby you got it.

Grace: Remember to breathe liv.

The baby's body begins coming out after she pushes two more times. After four more pushes, the baby is out.

Gisella: Spencer, would you like to cut the umbilical cord?

Spencer: (wipes his tears) yes.

Spencer cuts the cord. He hugs and kisses his wife and daughter. The midwife passes the baby to Laura to prepare liv to push out the placenta. Spencer helps her push through as liv is exhausted.

Laura: (cries) you did it sweetheart.

Grace: She's so beautiful, I'm proud of you Olivia. (hugs Laura as they hold their granddaughter)
