After the baby was delivered, they were brought to the hospital. Where the baby weighted 6 pounds and 13 oz. They also checked on how Liv and her daughter had been doing. They go over every test, every process, and every piece of paperwork. . And because she passed every test and so did Liv, they may go back home. Spencer walks out with his newborn daughter like a cool dad. They hop in the car and head back home. As Liv enters the welcomingly decorated home, she notices gifts.
Spencer: Welcome Home Savani Lanai James!
Liv: Oh my gosh babe.
Spencer: You deserve the world (as he kisses liv)
Savani starts crying
Liv: I'm coming vani.
Spencer: Noo baby, I got her. (Grabs vani out her car seat)
Grace: Let me see my Gigi baby.
Laura: Let me see her. (Smiles at her lolo baby)
Grace: I literally just got her (talks to her Gigi baby)
Laura: (stiffs) let's go take and change her together in her room while the parents get their time.
Laura and Grace take their granddaughter to her room.
Liv: Baby is this a Bracelet? Omgg the letters S connecting making a heart.
Spencer: That's not all, turn around and close your eyes .
Liv turns and keeps her eyes closed. She feels Spencer hands on her neck placing a necklace on it. She opens her eyes and sees "S L J" on it.
Liv: Okay my turn, close your eyes and turn around.
Spencer looks confused but turns around and closes his eyes. She pulls out a large box. Set it down on the countertop. "Turn around and open your eyes," she commands. He notices that he has new football cleats with the phrases "#1 dad!" on the left shoe and "#1 in your hearts" on the right. He immediately hugs her.
Spencer: (kisses liv) Thank you baby, I appreciate this.
Liv: Thank you for being you. (kisses Spencer)
Laura, Grace and Savani Walks in.
Laura: That was a big poop (laughs).
Grace: Had to change her clothes and everything
Liv: We can take her.
Savani starts crying.
Spencer: It's okay daddy's here (as he shhh calmly)
Liv: She's probably hungry.
Spencer: Let's get you and her in bed so you can feed her.
Liv picks Savani up and holds her in her arms while giving her a bottle. Since she has not yet started to produce milk. After that, she pats her back so that she can burp. She then placed her in her bassinet so that she could fall asleep. After they get Savani to sleep. They eat and then go to sleep, They're awakened up again in the middle of the night to find Savani crying, so they get up to change her diaper, and feed her in an attempt to soothe her back to sleep.
Several days have passed. Grace and Laura returned home. Savani's first newborn photo shoot will be taking place today. So they are getting prepared to leave out.
Spencer: I'll get her dressed baby.
Liv: Thank you, babe.
Spencer gets Savani dressed as Liv gets ready. After liv is done, she feeds Savani so Spencer can get himself ready. As they are all done they leave to go to the shoot. When they get there, Spencer helps takes her car seat out. Soon they're all inside the building, the photographer is posing Savani in all the different poses she could do. Savani was such a delightful baby, staying quiet the entire time they were there for the photo shoot.
Photographer Lady: She's been doing really well, I never seen a baby stay this calm through the whole thing.
Liv: (smiles) She's a really calm baby.
Spencer: Our baby girl has not been giving us a hard time so far (laughs).
Photographer Lady: Aww but she looks just like you Olivia.
Liv: Thank you, that's my mini me.
Spencer: I see my genes didn't win this time.
Liv: It's okay (kisses cheek), I did bake her for 9 months.
Spencer: Next time it's gonna be all me, i'm calling it now.
Liv: That's a longgg time from now babe.
Spencer: (looks at her) Yeah okay.
Liv: We will see.
After shooting a few more pictures, the photographer was done. Following that, they headed off to go back home to spend some quality time as a family.
