Chapter 21: Our Quiet Storm

Savani has been causing Olivia and Spencer trouble for the past few days. She has been screaming constantly for no apparent reason. While also throwing her toys at everything in the house. She recently just started throwing temper tantrums.

Liv: Savani we don't do that, come help mommy clean up.

Savani: NO... NO...

Spencer: She's just a baby, babe.

Liv: Spencer she is gonna have to learn this is not ok.

Spencer: It's okay, I'll clean it up.

Liv: No Spencer but I see she has you wrapped around her finger.

Spencer: I can't help it, that's my baby girl.

Savani picks up a soft toy and throws it , and it hits liv.

Spencer: (grabs savani) you're not supposed to do that to your mommy baby.

Savani: (giggles)

Spencer tosses savani in the air while liv is standing there irritated by him.

Liv: (looks at him angrily) Spencer James!

Spencer: (whispers to savani) looks like mommy's mad at me too.

Liv: We have a birthday party to go to, it's not the time to be playing games.

Spencer: Aight baby I'm sorry.

Liv: You damn right you are, now go get her dressed.

Spencer then goes to Savani's room and puts her outfit on that Liv had placed out for her to wear. As he grabs her shoes to put them on savani says.

Savani: (run and screams) NO dada.

Spencer: (catches her) Cmon baby sit down and put on your shoes.

Savani: NO NO NO

Spencer: You don't say no no to dada.

Spencer still attempts to put her shoes on while she's throwing a temper tantrum and he finally gets them on. Then picks her up and walks out the room.

Spencer: Why were you giving dada such a hard time?

Liv: (laughs) see what I tell you, it's only going to get worse when she gets older. If you are so gentle with her babe.

Spencer: I know but it's hard.

Liv: I know but she has got to learn especially when the baby comes.

Following that, they then get in the car and leave for the birthday party. On the way there they stopped to pick up a gift for Jaylen. They are welcomed into the house as they arrive at the party. covered with nemo-themed decorations all around. Savani is taken where the other children were by Spencer while he is holding her. As Liv approaches to go talk to Brooke.

Brooke: (hugs liv) heyy girl, and omg baby boy is getting so big.

Liv: I'm so ready to have him already.

Brooke: How much longer do you have left?

Liv: A couple weeks.

Brooke: That's good you're almost there.

The rest of the girls join them.

RiRi: I love the theme of Jaylen's party.

Liv: Yess you did amazing.

Brooke: Aww thanks y'all.

Serenity: And my godbaby dripped out. Bestie did her big one.

Brooke: I had a lil help (laughs)

RiRi: Oh we know. (laughs)

Jayda: (laughs) you probably bout to be next RiRi.

Aubrey: Might not be wrong (laughs)

RiRi: Girl fuck yall (laughs)

Zarielle comes up to her mommy and wants to be held.

RiRi: (picks her up) She is all I need.

Meanwhile With The Boys

Jayce: I appreciate y'all for coming.

Spencer: Ofc anytime.

EJ: You know we are always coming through for the kids.

Montrey: We got you for lil jay.

Armon: Fasho bro.

Devante: They are all going to grow up close.

Throughout the rest of the birthday party, all the children were having a great time interacting with each other and playing with their toys. Along with eating cake and opening birthday presents, they sang "Happy Birthday." Savani had fallen asleep the entire way home in the car after Spencer and Olivia left shortly afterwards because it was getting dark outside.

Spencer: (holding savani) she's knocked out.

Liv: The birthday party really wore her out but at least she's already asleep and we just need to put her to bed (laughs).

Spencer: That's the good part. I'll be back. I'm going to put her in her bed.

While going upstairs to Savani's room, Spencer puts her on her bed, tucks her in, kisses her forehead, and says to her "goodnight, baby girl."

Spencer: Well she's out for tonight.

Liv: My baby was so tired.

Spencer: (kisses) it's time for us to get to bed now.

After doing their nightly routine, they got into bed and soon fell asleep.

The Next Day

Since Liv is due to give birth soon, they decide to take Savani to play in the park. Before the new baby arrives, they planned to spend some one-on-one time with her.

Liv: Mommy will be sitting right here on this bench.

Spencer: Ofc we need you to take it slow since baby boy will be coming very soon.

Liv: Thankfully because I'm so tired of being pregnant.

Spencer walks over to the swings to put savani in them as he starts pushing her. She is smiling and giggling with excitement.

Spencer: Baby don't say that we might end up having another one (winks at her).

Liv: HELL NO

Spencer: (laughs) I'm just playing.

Liv: Better be because we both got our mini me's that's all we need.
