'Are you sure you know exactly what you must do?' A voice snarled.

'Of course my lord, you made your instructions very clear,' a woman's voice replied as she walked across the dimly lit room. Her dark hair swung as she moved, the moon light from a nearby window illuminating the mark on her left forearm.

'Wormtail,' the first voice shouted. 'Give Miss Lestrange the list.' Wormtail shuffled forward, snivelling, and handed a piece of parchment to the woman.

'A list of all the mud bloods that were born over the past year,' the voice spat out the words in disgust. 'It is our duty to ensure that they are not part of this world.'

'I will not disappoint you my lord,' the woman replied.

'I trust that you won't, but if you do, Bellatrix, I wouldn't bother coming back.' The voice said maliciously. The woman grimaced before lowering her head into a bow. She turned on her heel and headed out of the room towards the ministry.

The Ministry of Magic was almost dead as Bellatrix arrived. She took the elevator to the 10th floor, turning left and then right along the labyrinth of corridors towards the department of International Magical Education.

Checking that the coast was clear she quickly walked towards the first office, opening the door to reveal cabinets and cabinets of letters in yellow parchment envelopes. All sealed with the same red crest.

She hurried over to the nearest cabinet and began searching for the names on her list.

It was becoming harder and harder to get away with the murder of mudbloods and muggles as security and protection of muggle borns increased.

But perhaps if those muggle borns never received their Hogwarts letters then they would never know what they truly were.

'No more disgracing the wizarding world,' Bellatrix thought to herself as she found the first letter she had been searching for. 'Incendio.' Bellatrix cried in glee as she watched the letter go up in flames.

She instantly returned to her search through the cabinets quickly finding name after name. Her shrieks grew louder as letter after letter burned before her eyes.

Picking up another letter she froze in her tracks. The sound of footsteps heading down the corridor towards her.

'Incendio.' She pointed her wand towards the letter, flames erupting from the end of her wand as the letter began to burn.

She dropped the letter to the ground, quickly glancing at the name on the envelope before quickly heading out of the ministry.

Miss Hermione Granger.
