Y/N's POV
Location: Parking Lot of an old Pizza Joint, Chicago, Illinois
Date: Roughly a day since last chapter

The night after my gifts, was a night to remember, a night that changed my life forever, for better or for worse.

It was 12:05 AM and it was raining cats and dogs, and I was outside the best sewer entrance in Gotham, my mission was simple to find a way to the Joker and kill him. I just need to dodge the rumored giant killer crocodiles and always rumored serial killer and see if he can be found somewhere

In a parking lot I move a dumpster out of the way and uncover the manhole, I take out a flashlight and shine it down to the sewer to see that the coast was indeed clear. After that I put the light in my mouth and climbed down into the sewers, taking in the atrocious smell while doing so.

My feet hit the concrete ground, and I take my flashlight out of my mouth and look around, nothing out of the ordinary, rats and garbage everywhere but then I notice a dead turtle floating along the sewers, weird, I think to myself before continuing forward. I take a few steps towards one direction before pulling out a compass and noting that I'm heading west, towards Wayne Manor and the opposite direction of Arkham Asylum, I was willing to head that way, for all I knew Wayne was Joker. That was a dumb suggestion as it would obviously be the butler

I kept heading west, taking in my surroundings, it was gross. While walking I notice some graffiti on the wall to my left, I shine my light and it reads, BEWARE THE CROC, which was probably nothing. Until I heard a growl coming from the way I came from, and I immediately ran. I kept running and running until I decided to head to my right. I ran some more before taking a left and leaning against a wall to take a breath, I thankfully didn't hear the growling anymore.

I took a moment to take a look at my map before coming to the conclusion that I have no idea where I am anymore, but I should keep moving west, keep course and it'll correct itself. So, I started to slowly walk west once more and this time I moved carefully so as to not make too much noise. At this point I was kind of scared, it seems like the rumor of a giant crocodile is true and that's just one more thing to worry about.

As I continue west, I start to hear a different noise, almost sounds like a bat so I look around with my flashlight and spot something. A bat, not as big as human but still massive by bat standards in the corner of the ceiling, it screeches at me causing me to jump in fear. I fall back and the bat flies right to me and seems to just look at me and smell me, before it flies to the wall and nudges a brick enough for me to tell that it looks out of place.

I slowly get up as it continues to screech and stare at me, it's almost as if it wants me to mess with the brick. I slowly walk up to the brick and push it back in causing the wall to shake and for me to take a step back as the wall in front of me slowly opens. It takes about a minute for it to fully open and I take a look inside

As I do, I notice more bats on the ceiling before I look down and see a cave, but not just any cave, a Batcave. I see a giant, high-tech computer and a line of glass tubes filled with many suits in the middle of the cave is the Batmobile, the same one that I tried to steal the wheels off of...

I slowly begin to walk down the slope that laid in front of me. As I did so I noticed the bats on the ceiling going crazy as I got to the batmobile pad. I take a look around and specifically go to the glass tubes to take a look at the suits, as I do, I notice that the Batsuit is missing and after taking in the Robin suit I go to the empty tube. As I look at the empty tube I notice a reflection, the reflection of Batman and I quickly pull my gun and aim it at him before he knocks it out of my hand and grabs my arm and pins it behind me

"Who are you?" the Batman's deep gravelly voice ringed in my ear as I try to think of something

I had to think of something to get out of this, "umm, my name is Reginald Blechman" I panically say only for Batman to pull my arm back some more and states, "wrong answer Y/N Todd"

As he says this, I look at him with a hint of fear, "if you're not going to tell me your name, at least tell me why you're hear" he requests

"I was going through the sewers to find Joker's hideout" I state causing Batman to let go of my arm and before he could speak another voice chimes in

"Master Wayne, Master Grayson has finally arrived" an older man states as he walks down the stairs, he notices what is going on, "oh dear lord, what do we have here?"

"Alfred, let Dick know I'm busy right now" Batman tells the older gentleman, Alfred who simply says, "of course sir" before walking back up the stairs

"Now, why the hell would anyone, let alone a kid, try to find Joker's hideout?" Batman asks

"I have my reasons" I state

"What did he do to you?" he asks only for me to act a bit surprised, "I know revenge-based anger well enough kid"

"When I was 3, my parents were at a community meeting, that night, the meeting house blew up. A member of the Red Hood Gang did it, everyone knows it, and I know that Joker was the one to do it" I explain, with a hint of rage in my voice

Before Batman can respond yet another voice chimes in, "great story kid but you still shouldn't go picking a fight with Joker" the voice states and I look over to the stairs to see a young man, around 21, was the one who interrupted us

"Dick, I said I was busy" Batman says

"Come on Bruce, a kid waltz into the Batcave with a sad story and you expect me to not want see how you handle this" the young man, Dick, states with a smirk, "broken kids were always your weakness"

Batman just sighs, "I'll hand it, Dick" he then turns to me

"Bruce? As in Bru-Bruce Wayne?" I end up stuttering out of my mouth which causes him roll his eyes before taking slowly taking his cowl off to show his full face, that of Chicago's ever popular billionaire, Bruce Wayne

"How did you get here kid?" Bruce calmly asks while Dick just remains quiet by the stairs

"The giant bat outside the entrance" I calmly reply, slowly realizing how dumb that sounded, "it um, it showed me the brick to press in" it sounded ever dumber now that I said it outload

"Oh great, the kid's crazy too" Dick says loudly, "the only giant bat in Chicago is Langstrom and he's still locked up" he explains

Bruce looked at me slightly confused before walking towards the bat-computer and pulling up a chair, "YN, sit down, explain to me, everything" he states with a stern voice
