Eclipse
Upon vast azure skies in the warm crepuscule,
Where a moon, aglow in shades of cool.
A tranquil scene meant to vitiate.
A bright gold halo that accentuates
The place for the sun and moon,
Where Celestia aligns so soon.
To gaze upon their harmonious dance.
A melody playing a deceiving trance. To shade such scene for red sore eyes,
Halting futile, useless tries.
Avert my gaze, sight rent surrender.
Words unspoken brought pain to ponder.
It hurtful to see, the truth laid bare,
When I'm meant to dwell on that affair.
The dreary alley, in grays I prance.
As I turned my head to make a glance.
Two are dancing, the scene bereft.
The unclear sight, the bosom's theft.
My weary soul, untouched by light,
Bleeds, unhealed, in the depths of night.
Where my eyes were veiled and bleeding.
Tears of crimson cascade by grieving.
The sparks, the star's so humble allure.
You mend my sight, all else obscure.A blue moon and waves aglow
In space where my fear does grow.
My salvation caught my trembling hand.
The eclipse of your false moon seemed so grand.
And in my vision, I felt it tenderly.
The essence swathed me completely.
Alas, you now know the place I was before.
I now wore the light I needed for, evermore.
