Letters I can't Speak
(Introduction)

Cher, *

Quite lovely is the day, I say. Nevertheless, I hope this mail finds you well, whilst my profile remain oblivious to your knowledge.

In courage, I ask thee 'bout the letter I sent.
I wonder how, and wonder where it went.
Did it appear right on your doorsteps,
Or 'twas hid under the mat like rotting corpses?

Scribbles on pages, passages left unread.
For I yearn to speak yet am ungranted.
To where will the post be come the morrow?
For what lies ahead be turned to sorrow.

Hanging on my thoughts with my mouth still untold,
Blocked by the letters of the love I still hold.
I fear for the possibility that puts me to shame,
Thus, 'tis my feelings unspoken shall wilt like a flame.

I beseech thee, do not let your curiosity be piqued as to the sender of this letter.

May our paths still intertwined once more as I pray the stars for that mutual encounter.

Sincerely yours,
*
