Love on the Full Moon Nights 7 - Bento Lunchboxes and Talk of Pets

It was the next day.

In the school's rooftop during lunch, Yashiro meets Amane to eat lunch together.

The girl with magatama hair clips was astonished at him. "Hokkaido?! If your dad doesn't get another job before next month, you're moving out with your family to Hokkaido?!" She wonders in her freaked-out voice.

The boy with amber eyes was solemn at her. Amane nodded his head one time. "It's awful, Yashiro. I have not ever been upset at my mom in my life. I don't mean it. It was just so sudden." He replies in his explanation.

The girl with magenta eyes feels bad for him. Yashiro patted him on the head five times. "There, there, Amane. It'll be alright. Let's eat our lunch before the next class starts." She consoles.

The boy with black choppy hair looks up at her. Amane flushed the dark red on his both cheeks. The boy with amber eyes was flabbergasted. "Uh...O-Okay..." He agrees in his stuttering voice.

Amane opens his red bento lunchbox.

Yashiro opened her light green bento lunchbox.

The girl with magatama hair clips picks up her omelette roll. She used her chopsticks to eat food with.

Yashiro was delighted at him, extending her omelette roll from her right hand. "Now say 'Ahhh'." She said but her last word was more like her murmuring voice.

The boy with amber eyes noticed what Yashiro was doing. Amane was alarmed at her, widening his wavy mouth. "A-AHHH!" He stutters in his panicking voice.

The girl with magenta eyes dropped her omelette roll in his mouth. "Here!" She exclaimed.

Amane has gotten jumpy, tasting the omelette roll in his mouth. His amber eyes are widened. "Mmmmmph?!" He freaks out with his mouth closed.

Yashiro stared at him closely. Her smile was sweet. "Chew it and tell me what you think." She said determinedly.

Amane blinks his eyes once at her. "Mm?" He muffled in his inquiry (while he still had food in his mouth).

Amane began to chew several times like he meant it.

After a long moment, the boy with black choppy hair swallowed it.

And then, Amane has twinkling stars on his amber eyes. The boy with black choppy hair was grinning. "Whoa! Yashiro, your lunch is so good!" He beams.

The girl with magenta eyes nodded her head two times. "I know, right!" She exclaims happily.

Yashiro made her proud smile. "Learning from the home economics class is helpful for my best skills!" She beamed.

Amane made his skeptical smile at her. "Really? Wasn't your best skills gardening or something?" He asks in his mischievous voice.

Yashiro furrows her eyebrows at him. The girl with magenta eyes shoves her shrimp down into his throat. Yashiro was annoyed. "Or something?!" She repeated in her pouting voice.

Amane was stunned after she gave her shrimp to him forcibly. The boy with black choppy hair chewed up lots of times. Amane was thrilled. "Mmmhmm!" He hummed delightfully.

Amane swallows it. "Yummy shrimp~!" He chirped.

Yashiro goes aloof. "I can do both skills, gardening and cooking. Thank you very much, Amane." She answers.

The boy with amber eyes was perplexed at her. "Hey, Yashiro, do you want to try some of my lunch?" He wonders.

The girl with magatama hair clips shook her head thrice. "No thank you, Amane." She replies.

The boy with black choppy hair pondered for a moment.

And then, Amane made his happy smile. "What about pets?" He asked.

Yashiro turned around to face him swiftly. The girl with magenta eyes was beaming. "Yes, I have a pet. Let me show mine first." She answered.

Amane nodded his head once. "Okay." He acknowledged.

Yashiro opens up her light purple smartphone. The girl with magatama hair clips searches for a pic until she finds it.

Yashiro showed him the picture of her pet from her smartphone. It was the gray and white furry little creature. It has black beady eyes. Not small like a mouse. And not as big as a fourteen-week-old puppy.

Amane ate some of his sashimi from his bento lunchbox. The boy with amber eyes was baffling at the picture. "It's a hamster." He observed.

The girl with magenta eyes was excited. "Yup. His name is Black Canyon. He's only three months old. You should see him running on the wheel." She remarked.

Amane nodded his head one time. "Your hamster is cute." He said.

Yashiro nodded her head twice. "Yes! He is!" She squealed.

Amane made his awkward smile at her. His sweat-drop appeared on his head. "Heh, heh, you don't have to be loud, Yashiro." He chuckled.

Yashiro glances at him in excitement. "Do you have a pet too, Amane?" She wondered.

The boy with amber eyes was surprised at her. "Um, w-we have a cat." He replied in his stumbling tone.

Yashiro gasps in disbelief. "You do?!" She squeals in her inquiry.

Amane pulls out his burgundy smartphone. "Let me ask Tsukasa for the picture. My little brother has taken some photos back home." He suggested, pointing his smartphone with his left index finger.

Yashiro became joyful. "Great! I can't wait to see it!" She exclaimed.

Amane blinks his eyes lots of times in bewilderment. "Oh, a-all right." He stumbles.

For a few moments, Amane shows Yashiro the picture of the apricot cat from his smartphone.

But there was one problem.

The boy with amber eyes was perplexed. "Sorry about the pic. It's a little blurry when Tsukasa took the photo of his smartphone. The cat is turning one year old. She's a big girl though." He explains.

The girl with creamy hair with teal tips made her small smile. "So what's her name?" She asks.

Amane becomes flabbergasted after he recognizes that he forgot the cat's name. "Oh! The cat's name is Chiyo!" He answers in the exclamation.

Yashiro waves her both fists in the air. "What a cute name!" She squealed again.

Amane gets alarmed at her. "You think my family's cat named Chiyo was cute?!" He panics.

Afterwards, the lunchtime in high school was over.
