Love on the Full Moon Nights 5 - Full Moon in the Park

Amane stared up at the evening sky.

The boy with black choppy hair detected something.

A large round yellowish orb with craters on it.

Amane widens his amber eyes, gasping in surprise.

The boy with black choppy hair grins with his small smile.

Yashiro takes notice of him. The girl with magenta eyes was baffled. "What's the matter, Amane?" She wonders.

The boy with amber eyes points up with his right index finger. Amane was excited. "Yashiro, look at this!" He exclaimed in his response.

The girl with creamy hair with teal tips follows where he was pointing at.

Yashiro blinks her eyes one time. "The moon?" She wonders again.

Amane holds the ropes of the swing. His smile grew into more happier as he gazed at it. The boy with black choppy hair blinked his eyes once. "Yes. The moon just started another phase today." He replies.

Yashiro widened her eyes in her astounded expression. "Ah~! It's a full moon~!" She murmurs.

Amane nodded his head twice at the night sky. "That's right." He said.

And then for the longest moment, Amane began to feel heartfelt. "I wanted to go to the moon when I grow up." He whispers.

Yashiro glances at him. The girl with magenta eyes was confused. "Huh? You said 'You wanted to go to the moon', Amane? Like an astronaut or something?" She asked.

The boy with black choppy hair looked down on the ground. Amane made his sad smile. "Or something." He repeated.

And then, Amane took a deep breath. "I actually do wanted to be an astronaut, Yashiro." He answered in his soft voice.

The girl with magatama hair clips blinked her eyes twice at him. Yashiro listened intently to him.

Amane stares at the full moon again. The boy with amber eyes was smiling sadly. "Before I met you, I was gazing at the moon since I was little. I loved watching the stars and the moon every night. That's how I learned about space in books. The more I learn, the more excitement I get from reading them. One time, I mentioned to Tsukasa that I would go to the moon and live there." He said.

The girl with magenta eyes was curious. "How can you live in the moon when there's no sun or air or stuff?" He wondered.

Amane raised his right eyebrow at her. "Or stuff?" He repeats in his chuckle.

Amane sighs in relief, looking up again. "No one dared any astronauts to live in the galaxy away from Earth. I'm an astronomer by heart. How can I not love space after all." He replied honestly.

Yashiro made her happy smile at him. The girl with magatama hair clips shook her head three times. "I don't see why you can't be an astronaut, Amane." She uttered.

The boy with amber eyes glanced at her in confusion. "Huh?" He inquires.

Yashiro shrugs her both shoulders. "I get you love the stars and the moon and space stuff." She perceives.

And then, Yashiro was beaming at him. "I'm glad you got a future goal. I think you'll be a great astronaut." She mentioned.

Amane becomes alarmed. His face begins to flush up red like a traffic light. And then, the boy's black choppy hair stands up straight in shock. The steam pops out from the top of his head.

The boy with amber eyes glances his head away from her.

Yashiro gets perplexed at him. "Eh?" She inquired.

Yashiro shifts her head to him a little. "Amane, are you okay?" She asks.

The boy with black choppy hair rubs his both eyes. Amane was nervous. "Uhhmm...It-It's really...n-nothing, Yashiro...E-Eyelash fell on m-my eyes somewhere..." He stuttered in his answer. His voice sounded frantic.

The girl with magenta eyes sighs in annoyance. "Oh yeah. I hated that. Every time an eyelash falls on my eye, I would go to the bathroom and find it. That was a pain." She reminisces.

Amane cupped his mouth with his both hands. His amber eyes are widened in disbelief. "Wow...! Nobody says anything like this to me before...Yashiro...Every time I say her name, my heart's pounding like crazy...It's more than just her name...Her smile...Her hair clips...Her hair...And her eyes...She's everything to me and I love her...But I can't tell her yet...We're in high school...I can't just rush in..." He thought in his panicking voice.

Amane closes his eyes for some seconds, taking his breaths in and out.

The girl with magatama hair clips gets up from her swing. Yashiro was delighted. "Stay where you are." She urged in her soft voice.

The boy with black choppy hair opens his eyes instantly. Amane felt something that he not ever felt before.

The boy with amber eyes turns his head to his left.

Yashiro's arms wrapped around his upper arms.

Amane was surprised at her. "What?" He inquired in his whisper.

The girl with creamy hair with teal tips embraced behind him. Yashiro's both cheeks are light pink. The girl with magatama hair clips made her sweet smile as she hugs him tightly.

Amane became stunned at her. His eyes are fully amber. And then, his mouth was opened like a shocked cat.

Yashiro let out her deep sigh. "Everything is gonna be alright. I hope your dad gets his job again soon." She comforts in her encouraging voice.

The boy with black choppy hair has black spirals on his amber eyes. Amane was flustered big time. "Whaaa?! Now my heart cannot stop beating fast! This is so much more than just holding a hand! Ahh! What's happening to me?! Yashiro's so warm in her hug!" He freaked out in his thoughts.

They lost their track of time after they realized what time was it.

Amane walked her home first.
