Amane and Yashiro sat across the kotatsu. They had sat on the sage-green cushions with their legs crossed.

The amber-eyed boy was pondering at the menu.

The magenta-eyed girl hasn't look at the menu because she knew what she wants.

The medium-brown-haired waiter goes to them. The hazel-eyed boy was smiling. "Are you ready for your orders, you two?" He asked.

Yashiro was delighted at the waiter. "I am! The matcha tea and strawberry rice cakes please!" She answered in her beaming voice.

Amane stared at her swiftly in disbelief. "Wait, we're having dessert first?!" He blurted out in his inquiry.

Yashiro stares at him bafflingly. "Did you forget to check my text message, Amane?" She wonders.

The amber-eyed boy blinked his eyes three times in astonishment. Amane pulled out his smartphone from his jacket pocket.

The amber-eyed boy tapped on his smartphone touchscreen.

There was a text message from Yashiro in his notification box.

When Amane opens up his burgundy smartphone, his face suddenly appears to be appalling.

Amane, we're having desserts at the Purr-Purr Cat Cafe! Eat dinner first before you leave, okay?

The amber-eyed boy looks at the magenta-eyed girl instantly. Amane was panicking as he waves his hands sideways rapidly. "Yashiro! I'm sorry! I was taking a shower at the time! I thought we were having dinner here!" He freaks out in his frantic state.

The amber-eyed boy's reply to her was a hectic one.

The magenta-eyed girl made her awkward smile. Yashiro gestures to settle down. "All right. All right, Amane. Calm down." She utters in her soft voice.

The hazel-eyed waiter was patient with them. The waiter had a sweat-drop on his head. "How cute. It reminds me of my date with my girlfriend in high school. She was out of my league and she just walked up to me and asked me out. Adorable those two kids." He thought.

Couple hours later...

On the kotatsu, there are half a dozen of takoyaki in the middle of the kotatsu. There are also three pieces of strawberry rice cakes next to four pieces of plain donuts.

Yashiro got her matcha tea.

And then, Amane got his barley tea.

The magenta-eyed girl claps her hands once. Yashiro was joyful. "Thank you for the food!" She exclaims.

The amber-eyed boy clapped his hands one time. Amane made his slight smile. "Thanks for the food!" He exclaimed.

Amane and Yashiro split their foods into their little plates.

They each get three rounds of takoyakis and two plain donuts.

The magenta-eyed girl offers him a piece of her strawberry rice cake.

The amber-eyed boy tried to refuse, but Yashiro was insisting him to take it.

Amane shrugged to himself as he had no choice but to let her do what she wanted to do.

Amane ate the strawberry rice cake from her.

I mean, it is their first date.

The amber-eyed boy attempts to do the same tactic.

Amane offered her a small piece of plain donut.

The magenta-eyed girl did the same thing like he did moments earlier.

Yashiro opened her mouth wide and say 'Ahhh'.

As the amber-eyed boy leaves his plain donut in her mouth, she smacks his two fingers with her lips.

Amane was more blushing than how he expects.

His whole face was as red as a gem of ruby.

The night sky has gotten darker. The stars and the full moon are back in the nightfall.

The magenta-eyed girl was joyful. "I have fun, Amane. The plain donut was good." She commments.

The amber-eyed boy made his slight smile. "I have fun too, Yashiro. The strawberry rice cake was good too." He commented.

Amane squiggles his lips as he was unease. "But you didn't have to eat my fingers off for my donut, you know." He thought in his hectic voice.

They are walking together to the magenta-eyed girl's apartment home first.

They stopped at the staircase.

Yashiro made her nervous smile at him. "Um, Amane...Can you...call me by my first name, please?" She wonders.

The amber-eyed boy gets surprised at her. "Uhh...O...Okay..." He replies in his stammer.

Amane has tried to call Yashiro by her first name before but failed.

The amber-eyed boy took a deep breath. Amane became heartfelt as his eyes went narrowed. "N...Ne...N..." He stammered but he was trying.

Amane opens his mouth a bit big. His face looks emotional in his glossy amber eyes. The amber-eyed boy was genuine. "Nene! I don't want to end our first date! I like you so much!" He exclaims in his whimpering voice.

Yashiro was blushing her both cheeks the reddest like cranberry juice. Her eyes are widened in disbelief.

The magenta-eyed girl gasped in her shocking voice.

After a long moment, Yashiro wraps her arms around his neck as the amber-eyed boy got startled. The magenta-eyed girl was happy as her eyes narrows halfway down. "Me neither. I like you a lot, too, Amane." She whispered.

Amane made his sad smile at her as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "Nene..." He whispers softly.

Yashiro blinked her eyes once. "Amane..." She whispered again.

Yashiro tilted her head to her right.

The amber-eyed boy tilts his head to his right.

They both leaned forward as they slowly closes their eyes.

They made a gentle kiss to each other's lips.

As they hold onto each other, their faces are turning much redder than before.

It was love on the full moon night.
