Knuckles and Sonic was greeted back by everyone and was so happy to be home. "Well that was a eventful visit" Sonic said. "I know right" Knuckles agreed. "You were really amazing though and honestly the way you outsmarted rouge was just. " Sonic chefs kiss. "Perfect" he said. "Well her big mistake was still thinking I was that gullible knucklehead." Knuckles replied. "Proof we all grown up and are now living normal adult lives." Sonic said. "Nothing is normal for long sonic at least not for us." Knuckles smirked. "Welp" sonic plops on the couch. "That is true. Let's just hope it's stays normal for a while" sonic said as knuckle lays on the couch and put his head on Sonic's lap. "That would actually be very nice" Knuckles smiles. "Want me to massage that clever brain of yours?" Sonic asked and knuckles nods. Sonic smiled and happily rubbed knuckles head and steal a sweet kiss making knuckles chuckle.

Once more knuckles was winning the usual bets. Once word got around of his and Rouges game he had many come to challenge him. Each time he won. Sonic was proud of his boyfriend and enjoy watching the spark in his eyes as he played. Knuckles soon got a promotion at work but turned it down because he didn't wish to live over seas. His job respected that and promoted someone else. Now a month later since they got home everything was good and Knuckles had a special treat for sonic. Once he logged off a website after a special purchase he gets up to get some lunch. Sonic was with his family who came up to visit so knuckles had time for himself. As he approached the restaurant he felt someone tap his shoulder. "Knuckles" a female voice said that made his spine go cold. "Shit..." he muttered then turned around to see an older yet young looking orange female echidna with lovely green eyes. "Sirena...." He said. "It's been quite sometime handsome. How have you been?" She asked. "I'm very well" he said. "That's good. Seeing anyone?" She asked and knuckles knew the type of woman Sirena is. "No" he said and turns to leave only to have her yank him back. "Now knuckles I know that's a lie. Who is he? The blue hedgehog." She smiled and his heart raced. "Damn it how did she find out?!" He thought. "I'm not disclosing his name and why would it matter? Your daughter has gotten pregnant by another man and that ended what we had." He said. "Because she terminated the pregnancy because she didn't want kids with no one else and wants you back." Sirena smiled. "Well tough, I want nothing to do with her or you. Everything I did there were strings attached with you both. Well not anymore so leave me alone." He growled. "I'm afraid we can't do that knuckie~" shade walks up. "I have a deal for you. I'll leave you alone only if you spend one more long lust filled weekend with me and not tell your boy toy. Or I'll simply order my men to kill him and his little visiting family and make you mine." She said and Knuckles glared. "What do I get in this?" He asked. "Again I leave you alone and your boy toy lives." Shade smirked and Knuckles sighed. "Just one weekend?" He asked. "Yes~" she smiled.
