New Day

Morning rose in Green hill city once more. The people start their daily lives and roam in the city. In Sonic's penthouse him and Knuckles lay in bed asleep. Knuckles arm was holding sonic close and nuzzling himself between his neck and shoulder. He opens his eyes and smiles at the special gift he gave sonic. A ring. After what shade had done he never wanted to do anything more in his life and went to sonic. He told sonic what she done and he only agreed to get her off his back but wasn't going through with it. Sonic was furious with Shade but knuckles calms him down and told him what he had planned. Since his family was there it made it special for Sonic and they were more than happy to attend. Knuckles even booked an overnight flight for their friends to come but to also help pack. The following night after shade's deal knuckles and sonic had a Vegas wedding. They got married in the casino chapel in a private ceremony with just Sonic's family and their friends who were extremely happy for the two. Knuckles gift arrived and that's what they used to exchange rings. Though his ring had to come in later but it didn't matter because now he married someone he loves.
Knuckles smiled at his sleeping husband again and is happy to be back in green hill city. He does go to the local casino twice a week and of course wins. He plans on taking sonic to Italy next month for a late honeymoon and sonic was very excited. Knuckles kisses the sleeping blue shoulder and down the back a little making sonic stir. "Morning blue~" knuckles purred. Sonic rolls over to face knuckles and smiles. "Morning red~" he replied and kissed him. "Did you sleep well?" He asked and glided his hand down the blue side. "After that round of sex oh yeah." Sonic smiles then nuzzles under knuckles chin. "Good" knuckles chuckle a bit. Sonic wiggle his hips a bit against knuckles making him smile. "You want some morning sex don't you?~" he asked and Sonic rubs his member. "yes~" he said and knuckles smiles rolling on top.

"So Italy huh?" Silver asked as the gang all sat in Amy and blazes living room. "Yep and I'm very excited" Sonic smiles. "How was Tokyo since we never asked?" Knuckles said. "It was amazing! The lights at night, the cherry blossoms, not to forget the fucking food!" Silver said excitedly and shadow chuckles. "If you ever decide to go there I highly recommend this ramen place it was very good. Of course sonic I be careful with the spice level." Shadow smirked and Sonic rolled his eyes. Pfft please Shadow I can handle a little spice" sonic said and the group laughed even knuckles. "Sonic you couldn't handle a drop of Sriracha." Knuckles said and sonic pouts but laughs. "Ok ok fair point" they all laugh again. Amy brings in some more snacks and drinks before they start playing a board game which sonic wins. "At least we're playing something pro gambler can't beat us at." Tails teased and knuckles shrugged smiling. "I can loose on purpose ya know I just choose not to." He said setting up the next board game. "Isn't that the truth~" sonic smirked and Amy smacks his arm playfully. "So what are we doing for the holidays?" Cream asked. "The usual have a Friendsgiving a week before thanksgiving and same with Christmas. "Yet this year I want to host" Sonic said and they look at him. "This year has been completely crazy and it's ending on a good note. I just want to make this the best one since so much has happened and despite the pain, the threats, and the suffering, We came out on top." He smiled and everyone was moved. Sonic held knuckles hand and looked at his friends who smiled.

"I mean every good future starts with a new day."
