"Did you guys hear that?"

Adira asked, her head turning around and looking behind her shoulder at an instant when she heard the scream.

The screams of the eight students falling through the disappearing floor inside the cottage.

The group did not proceed further into the forest after the other group left to explore the cottage. They were starting to feel that Jaeyun's idea of this game was true.

Sunoo nodded slowly in reply to Luna's words, his eyes too eventually falling on the cottage. All of their gazes turned skeptical with a hint of terror seizing them. 'Them' referred to everyone except Fuma.

He still had his egostic demeanor on that vexed the rest.

"Should we go in? Any volunteers?"

Riki asked, his hands buried in his pockets as he took a single step towards the cottage. Most of them hesitated, waiting for a latter to step up first so that they can follow.

Taki, looked around before he stepped forward. He himself was hesitant to lead the group into the cottage. But if everyone thought the same way then who would lead the others?

"I volun-"

A scoff that left Fuma's lips stopped Taki from talking further.

"Why bother?"

Fuma spoke, causing them all to look at him, puzzlement filling their faces.

"I mean, it's not our fault if they got into trouble or something. They asked for it-"

That was it for Lynn. Her eyes fumed with anger as she gritted her teeth. Before Fuma could speak another word, she stepped up.

*slap!!*

Fuma's eyes widened as his palm cupped the right side of his cheek that was red and burning. He looked to his side to see Lynn standing there, sending daggers at him through his eyes.

"What the-?"

Fuma let out in disbelief, his palm still cupping his cheek.

"Can't you shut the fuck up for once? Ninety nine problems are solved if you do."

Lynn raged out verbally and quickly turned around to face the others, not bothering to let Fuma reply.

"I'll go in. You guys either come or stay here as cowards. Just so you know, staying inside the circle isn't going to guarantee your survival or escape."

Lynn ended on a blunt note before she jogged towards the cottage, stepping in through the broken door with no hesitation.

The others sighed.
