Nevaeh's POV

As I sit in the back seat, my heart pounds in my chest while the car pulls away. The blindfold over my eyes only intensifies the panic building inside me. I can't see where we're going, but I can hear the low hum of the engine and feel the subtle vibrations of the road beneath us. The men don't say a word, and the silence only makes the situation more terrifying.

My thoughts race as I try to make sense of what's happening. Orion, the man who I thought cared for me, just handed me over to strangers like I was worthless. The shock of his betrayal is almost as overwhelming as my fear. How could he do this? Why is this happening?

I don't know how long we drive, but it feels like hours.

We eventually come to a stop, and I hear the men get out of the car. The door next to me opens, and a rough hand grabs my arm, pulling me out.

"Walk," one of the men orders, his voice cold and emotionless.

I stumble forward, unable to see where I'm going. The ground beneath me is uneven, and I nearly trip several times. The man tightens his grip on my arm, forcing me to keep moving. I try to focus on my surroundings, listening for any clues that might tell me where we are, but all I hear is the wind rustling through the trees.

As we reach what I assume is the front door of a house. One of the men opens it and pushes me inside.

They guide me down a hallway and seat me on something that feels like a barstool.

"I'm glad you could make it to our "little" meeting," Trust says with a smirk, as Quayvion removes the mask from my eyes.

"We've got a lot to go over, so try to keep up," Quayvion says bluntly, making his way to the front of his living room with Trust following right behind him.

"I would like to start dis bitch off by introducing our newest member," Quayvion says while motioning towards Orion.

The whole team looks in Orion's direction.

"We're pretty choosy about the people we allow in our circle. Everybody here has to serve some type of purpose to help us get to this money," Quayvion states, nodding at each person in the room.

"So with dat being said, I'd like to introduce my boy, Orion," Quayvion says with a gesture toward his new recruit.

"Wassup everybody," Orion announces, moving from the couch to the front of the living room, his presence demanding attention. "I'm the type of nigga you got to hide yo bitch from. I can make anything sound like pure ecstasy when it comes out of my mouth. My job? Sweet talk taken women, gather their secrets, and y'all already know what goes down after that."

He grins, the kind that's both cocky and dangerous. "Long story short, you can call my ass the pantie dropper—'cause when yo bitch sees me, that's all she gone wanna do." He lets his words hang in the air, confidence radiating off him. "For initiation, a nigga was tasked to kidnap Nevaeh." His gaze slides over to Nevaeh, "and I'm pleased to say the job's done."
