He wasn't aware of how very fucked he was, until he wandered into the dining room, found all three there, saw the hint, the very evil glitter of amusement in that trio of stares, and just turned on his heel, and walked his ass right back out.

Next time, he thought, and was very aware they were laughing at him and that reaction, and really, if any one of them could ever keep anything sacred between themselves it was asking too fucking much.

He wasn't sure what he had expected, but the reality sitting there was about the epitome of torment, and he told a server named Angela in passing, "I'll eat upstairs." Then, he hit a stride close to a run and was around the corner before Caleb could break the archway.

"Christian!"

He heard through the hall, "I'm eating somewhere else. You all can burn in hell!"

He grinned and glanced back at the other two. Drew was laughing, rubbing his eyes, and Darren just looked very unsurprised, mild and those eyes were very bright on him. "Why, is it, when he does shit, I have to suffer?" Caleb mused out loud.

Darren just popped a shrimp into his mouth and shrugged. "Just lucky I guess."

Drew stood though, and was still chuckling, took a deep drink of his whiskery sour, and was all over this one. He pointed at Darren and Caleb on his way out, and said, "You boys are idiots. Imma bout to lock the fucking door when I find him first."

Darren looked at him, then Caleb, who looked at him, and Drew was already half-jogging down the halls. Darren slipped up and grinned. "Oh, shit, are we playing hide and seek?"

Caleb would have liked to stop this madness, but, he had a visual of Chris running the halls from his insane brothers, and shut his mouth.

That...whew. God damn, but it almost made his knees weak.

Darren just grinned and slipped past, took off at a run, went up the steps instead, and Caleb went to the com. "Amelia, will you please postpone dinner for at least an hour and a half?"

Her voice came back, "Eight o'clock then?"

"Yes, that will be fine." He flexed his fingers, released the button, and wondered now, what was on TV.

He put his hands in his pockets and just left the dining room, and supposed he'd see which way it all landed.

Chris didn't go to his room which was surely his first mistake.

He ended up veering towards what he assumed would be a good hiding spot, which was the library, with all its shelves and lines of bookcases.

It was like being in a public library only the furniture was prettier, and the seating area was in a circle around an electric fireplace, the windows were gorgeous, floor to ceiling in a stunning Gothic aesthetic, and looked out over the East facing gardens and pool.

Adjoining, was a game room with a pool table that doubled as a parlor, and was very masculine, had a card table, and was a small, rounded offshoot to the left in the back of the library space.

He shut the door, leaned his forehead against it, cursed, and tried to get a handle on himself, because that moment, had really just...wow.

Usually, he felt like a whore, but tonight? It hit him with a vengeance. Just, a scarlet letter burned into his forehead for an eternity in hell, type of feeling, and he also, couldn't lie and say he wasn't also incredibly riled up. He had walked in, looked at the three of them and the first thought in his mind hadn't been, wow, I need to go cry. It had been, how quickly can I pull them into an orgy, which had been horrifying, and perverse and surely something he needed to get some kind of handle on.
