Chapter 3

"Finn!! Oh how lovely to see you here my good sir !" I bowed before him.
"Oh Lily, my lady, so nice of you to grace us with your presence" he giggled.
Finn and I had become acquainted through raven. Raven and I worked closely together, she being a mechanic we crossed paths a lot down that end of the ark.
We walked over to Clarke, who was finishing wrapping up wells ankle.
Catching the end of the conversation,
"You shouldn't have come wells!" She grumbled.
"Alright when do we leave ?" Finn asked, distracting the two from their dispute. I made a mental note to ask wells what's that about.
"Ooh here we come Mount weather, it's just like old times, hey Finn !!" I chirped beside him.
"I'm sorry Lily you can't come, we need you here" Clarke spoke facing me. She looked determined I could see that she was already calculated many a things.
"I need you to work on getting communication back to the ark, we won't survive down here without their technology. Plus I need you to keep on eye on wells." She added
"For sure Captain ! I can do that" I saluted to her. She simply let a small laugh and turned back to the group. It was Monty jasper Octavia Finn and Clarke. I have no idea how the five of them are going to bring back food for the 100 plus stupid Bellamy.
I dashed back into the drop ship sussing the main frame and having a look at what may be salvageable from the crash, however due to the rough landing and the two kids who smashed into, little was useful. I proceeded to climb to the top of the drop ship to have look at whether I could form a conductor, except a few panels were missing. I bet if I found them it would solve a lot of my problems. Scurrying down and out to the forest, leaving the 100 to remain in their euphoric state. While out and about I bumped into wells who was searching for water. Such a practical guy this one.
"Well hello my good sir" i chirped behind.
He jumped slightly, "oh Lily I didn't hear you come up behind me, what are you doing out here?"
"Oh searching for the lost panels from the roof, however, no luck. So would you like some help." I replied
"Oh yeah for sure I was planning to use the material in the drop ship to make tents so we have something to sleep in" he stated. And this is the very reason we keep him around, I mean we obviously enjoy his company too but you get what I mean. I picked up a few big sticks that would work well as the main structure poles and then I grabbed some thin long pieces of what seemed like grass but was quite tough to use as thread. As we entered back into the chaos, I noticed Murphys group gather around the side of the drop ship. He seemed to have scratched
"First son to dye"
Terrible spelling, I taught him better than that.
"Oh and what have you been up to Miss Lily, I see your choice of company is questionable." He smirked.
"You could say that, considering I was known to be around you" I hit back a smirk gracing my face.
Looking at wells, Murphy spat,
"My parents begged your father and
He floated them, your father did that !"
"We went looking for water, feel free to come next time.
Oh also that's incorrect spelling" wells sassed before walking off. I chose not following this time however, as Murphy required a piece of my mind.
I stomped up to him gazing up at him.
"Murphy you are better than this, I know you are hurt from what happened to your parents, but I know you are better. Be the boy I use to cause chaos with on the arc" I pleaded with him. I could see a softness start to grace his features.
"It's probably not best to announce to the world you are planning to kill someone" on there comes massive jackass Bellamy Blake that prick. I felt his presence behind me.
"You're not actually apart of the guard are you?" Murphy queried, valid question. I was about to cut in and go I can vouch he is in fact on the guard my arrest report will validate it.
"No, however the real guard will be here soon, but I don't understand these people locked you up and you're helping them." Ah the ever persuasive  misguided leader he was.
"Like hell we are !" Murphy fumed. I didn't blame him for not holding the ark in fondness, I largely stood with him in his thoughts towards them. My father locked me up and felt that his ambitions were more important.
"You're still wearing those wrist bands aren't you." He swayed, Murphy and his poses almost had a light bulb moment in this.
"Yeah what's in it for us?" Ah that's the Murphy I know.
"Well someone has to help me run things." Bellamy spoke his ego practically suffocating.
"Murphy I know you don't agree with the ark, and I get it, I have always got it. However you cannot take your wrist band off, we cannot survive here without their resources." I spoke, suddenly spawning on unheard confidence. I believe it's my anger to Bellamy fuelling it. Murphy locked down on me, I could see he understood my point. But thanks to Mr asshole, it was short lived. His placed his hands on my shoulders in a tight grip.
"I can see you two have a history, however she is a council members daughter they will also exempt her."
"I'm sorry Lily, I will not abide by their rules anymore and neither should you." Murphy stated before taking his posing and beginning the process of taking off their wrist bands. Oh Clarke is going be so pissed when she comes backyard .
This left me with the king of asshole himself, I turned around giving him a solid shove to the chest although I didn't quite account for his statute, the shove didn't quite have the effect I had intended.
"That was cute, little one" he smirked down to me. This just further made my blood boil.
