The criminals rushed out. I was left standing at the back, this was the moment. I moved out the door, blinded by sunlight, as my eyes adjusted I was overwhelmed by the green. Excited I moved forward running to feel and immerse myself.
I looked around, my eyes falling on Clarke and wells. How strange wells is here.
"They dropped us on the wrong mountain!" Clarke grumbled. As she observed the map, her fingers moving gracefully across.
Well asked, " how'd you learn to do that?" Her eyes shot up, she was angry with him, I see it.
"Well, well did you miss me ?" I interjected into the conversation. Clarke spun round, embracing me in a tight hug. "Oh how I've missed you my engineer!" She exclaimed. As she moved away wells took my up, holding as he spun me round. Giggle escaped my lips. "So good to see you Lily" he said as placed me down. "So what's this about, the wrong mountain?" I asked them. As Clarke began to explain, the familiar voice of jasper floated through.
"Anywhere to buy a beer in this place ?" He giggled. A bright smile graced my face as I turned to face. However, wells over powered,
"Do you mind ?" He said with a frown, as he placed his hand on jasper chest moving him backwards.
As I spun round to tell him, that jasper is on of my friends. A new voice cut in, a voice I hadn't heard in a long time.
"Hey hey hands off he's with me, so nice to see you Lily, even your running with wrong crowd." Murphy said with a smirk.
Him and wells coming to a head. Murphy had already gathered his people. Murphy and I have gone back years. I was running down the halls of the ark, to go mess around in the engineering station when I was around 10 when I bumped into this scrawny little boy, Murphy. I was there through it all, when they floated his parents. I helped him with rations until he got arrested for stealing, I remember crying so hard pleading with my father to no prevail. The ark for me, I had no enemy's, I was friends with kids across the ark such as jasper, Monty and Murphy, not just Clarke and wells as we both on alpha station.
Relax, we're just trying to figure out where we are." Wells replied attempting to diffuse the situation . This was just a taunt to Murphy,
"Look everyone, it's chancellor of earth." He smugly replied, moving forward. "We're on the ground! That not good enough for you? There was a the voice again. "We need to find mount weather, just as my father's message said. This is the top priority." Wells fired back. The sibling of mysterious man sassed "screw your father! What you think you are in charge here? You and your little princess?" Referencing to
Clarke. I could see this stirred Clarke, she was angry,
"Do you think we care who's in charge? We need to go to Mount weather not because jaha said so, but because the longer we delay, the hungrier we be and the harder it will make it. How long realistically do see the supplies in there lasting?" At this Murmurs rippled through the crowd.
She continued, "we're looking at a 20 mile hike? Okay? So if you want to get there before dark we need to leave now" she resounded. It looked almost if the crowd had somewhat swayed. Then he cut through,
"How about you three go, let the privilege do the work for a change?"
I scanned the crowd that had formed. His smirk stood out from the crowd, a tall, tanned brunette in a guards uniform. He looked so familiar, where did I know him from. We locked eye contact a frown casing my brows, he just a wink.
I moved forward to confront him, I needed to know who he was and how he knew as he knew I was privileged. As I moved he kept his eyes trained one me.
Just as I was about to exchange words, wells voice rang out,
"You're not listening ! We all need to go !" He yelled frustrated.
I turned around, Murphy moved forward, giving wells a firm shove. "You think this is funny ?" He said over wells. I began to move back through to intervene, but as I took a step forward. Almost as if they had read my intentions, firm hands clamped down on my shoulders. "Leave them to it, little one" his voice sent shivers down my neck. Thats when it clicked, it was him, the guard he arrested me. I watched wells get up, he left ankle weakened and attempting to reposition into a fight stance. As they began to move together, Finn dropped down in between them.
"How about we wait till this is a fair fight ?" He sang.
"Hey spacewalker, rescue me next, yeah ?" The guards sister flirted. The crowd had dispersed, he removed his hands.
"Touch me again Blake and I'll have no issues punching you." I fumed.
"Oh I've held you down before, I am sure I can handle it again." He lent down meeting my gaze. I huffed and moved away, no longer feeling the need to engage with him. He straightened a smirk every present on his face. Bellamy had not forgotten the girl.
