The air was steady, slowly blowing through the trees and grass, the way it messed up some other's hair in which they sounded a lot of time and effort into. Today wasn’t just an ordinary day, a couple years from when the two first started dating, it was the wedding day of Yuichiro and Senjuro. The air was thick with a mix of excitement and nostalgia as former rivals turned lovers prepared to embark on a new journey together. Dressed in a perfectly fitted kimono adorned in hues of soft blue and white, Yuichiro’s heart raced with anticipation as he took his place before the altar.
He watched as Nezuko passed down the flowers, though it was fit to be for a younger role, even a role she managed to fight over Kanao with as a joke, not that it wasn't exactly a fight if Kanao didn't argue anything about her request. Nezuko being best friends with Senjuro for almosr around 10 years, and Kanao becoming great friends with Yuichiro after a while. He still remembered the first conversation they had together, saying how she could tell that he really adored and loved Senjuro just by watching.
Thw flower petals being carefully stepped on as Senjuro arrived, surprisingly to some, it was his older brother who walked him down the aisle, though a couple years after highschool he finally formed a relationship with his father, he thought it was only fair that his brother should walk him down. Yuichiro gazed at Senjuro, who stood across from him, looking regal in his traditional attire coated in delicate floral patterns.
The memories of their past, good and bad ones, flashed through Yuichiro's mind. Somehow, amidst the tension of their rivalry, they had found love, and today, that love would be cemented in front of friends and family.
As the vows were exchanged, a gentle breeze whispered through the trees, beckoning to the guests who had gathered to witness this union. Despite the challenges they had faced, today was a celebration of love, acceptance, and understanding. The moment their hands intertwined and their eyes locked, the world around them faded away.
When it was time for the first kiss as a married couple, laughter erupted from the guests, echoing joy and warmth. Yuichiro leaned in, heart filled with emotion, and captured Senjuro’s lips in a gentle kiss that deepened as the crowd erupted into cheers. Some small fries from their family and friends, which both Nezuko and Genya took a picture of quickly.
Once their kiss broke, the couple turned to face their friends and family the very people who had supported them, watched their relationship blossom, and encouraged their love. It was Rui, Muichiro, and Genya, who took it upon themselves to spice up the celebrations, hints of red and blue in the decorations, symbolizing their favorite colors at the time. Soon, their first dance begun, others standed around in a circle, allowing the two to dance in the middle.
Yuichiro practiced slightly with Muichiro, not wanting his brother to embarrass himself in the special day, while Senjuro on the other hand had no experience as well, messing up a little. Though to others views, it wasn't graceful, but just to show how far they grown to others. A small playful sign of their happiness, side conversations forming in the crowd.
"I can't wait to dance at my wedding.."
"What with mr cheese head? Yeah I can't wait..."
"Shut up Rui! Zenitsu and I managed to be happy together, though not exactly ready to be married, I can kinda see it happening you know .."
"Moldy carrot and cheese head ..what a happy couple..."
"Shush! Anyways who invited Enmu anyways? Was he close to one of them?"
"Nah, remember back in highschool that I got drunk or something by accident, yeah he made sure I wouldn't go to a major event or party unless he's there...even makes sure I go to bed by 10:00"
"Rui your 23..."
"Exactly...."
"Damn-"

By the end of the dance, With a casual yet playful grin, Senjuro reached behind him and grabbed the bouquet of wildflowers, a mix of vibrant reds and calming greens. With a mischievous glint in his eye, he tossed the flowers into the air, towards the crowd and proclaiming, “May the next love story begin!”
The bouquet danced through the air before spiraling gently downward. In an almost instinctual reflex, Rui jumped up, hands outstretched, catching the flowers. While others teased, He whipped around, playfully tossing them toward Muichiro, who stood next to his boyfriend Tanjiro. With a mixture of surprise and joy, Muichiro caught the bouquet, laughter cascading through the crowd. “Looks like it’s your turn next!” Tanjiro teased, earning a light blush from Muichiro as the guests cheered in agreement. The two finally getting together in their senior year.
Nearby, Nezuko and Zenitsu twirled around in their own little world, sharing shy, affectionate glances while dancing to an upbeat melody. Kanao and Genya joined in, their laughter mingling harmoniously with the music as they swayed to the rhythm, creating a delightful tapestry of happiness that enveloped the space. Soon Tanjiro took Muichiro's hand, dragging him to the dance circle.
As the sun finally set, casting a blanket of stars above, Senjuro and Yuichiro took to the center of the clearing, a serene moment built from months of preparation and uncountable hours of planning. They shared their finale dance of the night , wrapped up in each other’s arms, the world around them blurring away.
“Can you believe we made it here?” Senjuro whispered, resting his head gently on Yuichiro’s shoulder.
“I didn’t think I could ever love so deeply,” Yuichiro replied, his voice tinged with warmth. “You turned my life upside down in the best way possible. What do you think our next chapter will look like?”
“Whatever it is, as long as we’re together, it will be perfect,” Senjuro said softly, pulling back just enough to gaze into Yuichiro’s eyes.
With that sentiment hanging in the air, the stars twinkled overhead, offering silent blessings upon the couple. They continued dancing, their hearts beating in harmony, surrounded by the laughter and love of their friends. The night was calm, the air electrifying with possibilities, and as they spun together under the night sky, they knew that this was just the beginning of their beautiful story together.
