I woke up the next morning caged in Veer's embrace. I freed myself and then took a bath and went outside. Seeing no one around I decided to go to the kitchen and prepare for my "pehli rasoi" even though I did not know how to cook.
I went to the kitchen and looked around, unsure what to do. I started scrolling for recipes on my phone and someone entered. I looked around and saw Veer smirking at me.
Veer: So as I expected, you don't know what to do
Zoe: I'll figure something out
Veer: Should I do it for you
Zoe: I'm supposed to cook
Veer: you clearly don't know how to
Zoe: And you know?
Veer: I've lived in Mumbai alone, how do you think I survived
Zoe: you have personal chefs
Veer: only after I became succcessful
Zoe: What will you make?
Veer: Let's see
I sat down on the counter as he started taking out ingredients from the refrigerator
Veer: Atleast help me
Zoe: fine
I got down and went to help him. We were done after an hour and hearing his parents wake up Veer rushed outside. I put everything on the tray and went outside. I served everyone and then sat down. Both his parents praised me and I looked at Veer who was looking at me with a teasing smile.
After breakfast we took out our things to leave for Mumbai. After reaching the airport I looked back at my family and friends who had come to bid me farewell. I had tears in my eyes just like 5 years ago, when Veer was leaving.
After bidding good bye to everyone, we walked into the airport. As the flight began to take off, I looked down the window to take a last glimpse at Udaipur, the city that had changed my life forever.
After reaching Mumbai, Veer called his driver asking him to come to the airport. I sat down in the car. The car started and it stopped near a beautiful mansion. I was really memorized by the sight
