ZOE POV.

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm, golden hue across Mumbai. Three years had passed since that pivotal night when Veer and I began our new journey together. As I stood on the balcony of our spacious penthouse, I looked out over the bustling city, feeling a profound sense of peace and fulfillment.

Inside, the sound of laughter and playful squeals filled the air. Veer was on the living room floor with our daughter, Qudsiya, who had just turned three. The sight of him playing with her warmed my heart. He was a remarkable father—patient, loving, and attentive.I walked into the room, my heart swelling with affection as I watched Veer lift Qudsiya into the air, her giggles ringing out like music."Careful, or she'll think she can fly!" I teased, joining them on the plush carpet where they were playing.Veer looked up, his face lighting up with a grin. "She already thinks she can fly. Just look at her!"Qudsiya's eyes sparkled with delight as she reached for me, her tiny arms outstretched. I scooped her up, hugging her tightly as she giggled.

"You two are the highlight of my day," I said, leaning in to kiss Qudsiya's cheek.

Just then, the doorbell rang, signaling the arrival of our dear friends. Pari and Ravi, who had been with us through many ups and downs, had come to celebrate. And Aayush who was now Pari's husband, was with them. Their presence was a reminder of how blessed we were to have such supportive people in our lives.

"Surprise!" Pari announced as she entered, her smile as radiant as ever.Ravi and Aayush followed, their faces lit up with excitement. "We couldn't miss celebrating with you," Ravi said, clapping Veer on the back. The evening was filled with warmth and laughter as we caught up and enjoyed each other's company. The kids played, the adults reminisced, and the atmosphere was one of joy and camaraderie. We had all come so far, and it was wonderful to share our happiness with those who had been a part of our journey.

Later, as Qudsiya were tucked into bed, we gathered on the terrace for a quiet moment together. The city lights below created a magical backdrop as we settled into comfortable chairs, the air filled with the gentle hum of nighttime.Pari and Aayush, now a happily married couple, sat close, their hands intertwined. Ravi, ever the supportive friend, looked around with a contented smile.

"I can't believe how much has changed since we all first met," Pari said, her eyes reflecting the city's glow. "It feels like just yesterday we were navigating uncertainties and new beginnings."I nodded, taking Veer's hand in mine. "It really does. But look at us now—happy, fulfilled, and surrounded by the people we love."Veer smiled, his gaze shifting between me and our friends. "We've all grown so much. I'm grateful for the love and support each of you has given us. Tonight is a celebration of that."Aayush, who had always been a supportive friend, added, "It's been amazing to see how everything has come together for all of us. We're all living our dreams, and it's wonderful to be here celebrating with you."

The evening continued with heartfelt conversations and shared memories. Veer and I exchanged knowing glances, our love for each other evident in every touch and glance. We had weathered storms and celebrated triumphs, and now we were enjoying a moment of peace and contentment. As the night wore on, Veer stood up and held out his hand to me. "I've been thinking about how far we've come and how lucky I am to have you by my side."I took his hand, feeling the warmth of his touch. "I feel the same way. You've been my rock, my partner, and my best friend. I wouldn't want to be on this journey with anyone else."We danced slowly under the stars, our hearts in sync as we moved together. The city lights shimmered around us, creating a romantic and intimate atmosphere. Our friends watched, their smiles reflecting the happiness we shared.

After the dance, we returned to our cozy spot on the terrace, where Veer had prepared a special surprise. He had arranged for a small, intimate setting with soft lighting and a table set for two. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves, adding to the romantic ambiance."This is beautiful," I said, my voice filled with emotion as I took in the setting. "Thank you."Veer smiled, his eyes filled with love. "I wanted tonight to be perfect, a reminder of how far we've come and how much I cherish you."As we enjoyed a quiet meal together, we reflected on our journey and the future ahead. The love we had for each other was evident in every glance and touch, and the promise of new beginnings filled us with hope.

The evening ended with us back on the terrace, holding each other close as the city lights twinkled below. The future was full of promise, and the love we shared was a beacon guiding us forward."Here's to us," Veer said softly, his lips brushing against mine in a tender kiss. "To our love, our journey, and the many adventures that lie ahead."I leaned into him, feeling the warmth of his embrace. "It ends with us, but it also begins with us. Here's to a future filled with love and endless possibilities."

As the night drew to a close, we knew that our story was only just beginning. The city outside continued to buzz with life, a testament to the endless potential that awaited us. Hand in hand, we were ready to embrace whatever came next, knowing that together, we could face anything and build a life full of love, joy, and happiness. The journey we had embarked upon had led us to this moment, and we were excited to embrace the future with hope and determination. The love we shared was the foundation of our happiness, and as the city lights shimmered below, we were ready to write the next chapter of our story together.
