It was a regular dreaded morning at the Black Manor. But Regulus was used to this empty depressed feeling; he deserved to live at Grimmauld Place. He gave up living a happy life for his brother, Sirius Black. He thought it was One brother sacrifices for another brother's freedom. He was right they left Sirius alone to live his life without restraints. Regulus walked down the gloomy grey halls and then sat down at the dinner table, faced with his stone-cold father and his mother. His parents didn't talk—not one word—until his father, while reading the Daily Prophet, said, "Such a shame, boy, all of the Death Eaters getting sent to Azkaban." Regulus always agreed with them out of fear and said, "Yes, Father, that is a shame." He finally finished his breakfast and started heading up the stairs.

"Why does every day have to be so doleful?" he thought as he walked. Into his room As he took a step, he heard a deafening pound on the door.

[DOOR CRASHES]

"What's going on?" he thought as he walked into his room that is filled with his old life. Life before his brother abandoned him. Things in the Manor have gotten worse since he left. he hurriedly locked the door. He figured they were getting arrested, because of what his father said at breakfast but he wondered what would happen to him after they did.

[Knock]

He got up to open his door and saw an  intimidating looking wizard cop who told him to get his stuff. Regulus started grabbing everything he needed. He didn't have a lot of stuff, so he grabbed clothes, a toothbrush and toothpaste, books, his sash, a lighter, headphones, and his Hogwarts stuff.

He walked down the steps, suitcase in hand. He saw the cop he had talked to earlier. "Hello, what is going to happen to me?" Regulus Black asked the unamused cop looking at him. "I'm taking you to your new residents. Are you ready, kid?"

---

Regulus paused before telling the cop that he was ready. "Okay then, get in the back of the car," the cop instructed. Regulus grabbed his stuff and put it in the trunk. He got in the car and promptly asked, "Where are you taking me?" The cop hesitated before he said, "You'll see." The cop was unsure if Regulus would like the place he was taking him.

Regulus put on his headphones, grabbed a quill and paper, and started writing to Pandora, his best friend since 1st year. They were now in year 5, so it's been a pretty long time. Regulus knew he could count on Pandora whenever he needed, and he needed to tell her what just happened. He wrote:

Dear Pandora Lestrange,

This summer was pretty uneventful besides me going to a single Death Eater meeting. But today proves otherwise. My mother and father, Walburga and Orion, are now waiting trial for being Death Eaters. And some other stuff, but that doesn't matter.

From, Regulus Black

He knew it was more than being a death eater. Sirius exposed their parents for beating them and cursing a couple weeks before. Regulus suddenly dozed off while looking at the morning sky, while listening to Gabriel Fauré his favorite music artist.
