I will be skipping what happened in the match bz who actually cares

James's POV:

As I finish up breakfast, I notice that Regulus hasn't really eaten anything. It's probably just jitters from the first day. I remember the first day Sirius came; he was super nervous to meet everybody while talking at the dinner table he barely even ate. After I'm done eating, we should all actually play a match of Quidditch.

I go upstairs to my room and see Regulus in my mini library that I don't use—it's just there for decor, if I'm honest. Regulus looks up at me, his eyes meeting mine for a second. I forgot he was Sirius's brother. He's just so beautiful, with his grayish eyes and short black curly hair. He reminds me of those models I see on TV; he definitely could be one if he wanted to.

Oh my God, what am I thinking? That is Sirius's baby brother I'm thinking about. "Are you just going to stare at me?" Oh my God, was I staring? "My bad, I was just going to ask if you wanted to play that game of Quidditch I was talking about." Regulus paused, looked at his book, then back at me again. "Yeah, I guess." We head outside, and Sirius is already waiting on his broom for us.

Outside (Narrator's POV):

As the game starts, Regulus is a bit awkward around Sirius. Before Sirius ran away, they had a big fight, so the tensions have been high ever since he got there. But never mind that; Regulus has better things to do than worry about how awkward it is.

Sirius, while competitive, is still trying to include Regulus. Regulus even gives Sirius some tips since Sirius doesn't play often. But as expected, both brothers are trying to outdo each other in a nicer way than usual.

James, of course, notices Regulus's initial discomfort and goes out of his way to deescalate the tension by saying, "Sirius, don't be mad you suck and Reg actually plays Quidditch." This helps Regulus relax and enjoy the game more.

As the match progresses, Regulus starts to feel more confident and even manages to score more points than Potter and Sirius. "Hey, I said you're better than Sirius, not me," James says while trying to catch the Snitch.

After the match, everyone is tired but happy. Regulus even manages to share a rare smile with Sirius. Regulus is happy to have a good moment with his brother again after years of them hating each other.

While Regulus is going back to the room to finish his book, he hears someone call out and say, "Hey, do you have a second?"
