In the days that followed, Abby and Eric threw themselves into their work, determined to build a stronger, more united Dauntless. They held training sessions, strategized new security measures, and worked to improve communication within the faction.

But despite their efforts, Abby couldn't shake the feeling that something was still off. There was a lingering sense of unease, a feeling that there was more to Brandon and Lucia's plans than they had uncovered.

One evening, as Abby sat in the command room, going over reports, Eric entered, his expression serious.

"We need to talk," he said, his voice low.

Abby looked up, her heart skipping a beat at the tone in his voice. "What's wrong?"

Eric took a seat across from her, his eyes filled with concern. "I've been hearing rumors. People are saying that Brandon and Lucia are still planning something, that they're waiting for the right moment to strike."

Abby felt a knot of anxiety form in her stomach. "Do we have any proof?"

Eric shook his head, his expression grim. "Not yet. But I don't want to wait until it's too late."

Abby nodded, her mind racing with possibilities. They couldn't afford to let their guard down, not when so much was at stake.

"We'll keep a closer eye on them," she said finally. "We'll gather our most trusted members and make sure we're ready for anything."

Eric reached out and took her hand, his grip firm and reassuring. "We'll get through this, Abby. We've faced worse before."

Abby smiled, a sense of determination filling her. "You're right. And as long as we stick together, we can handle whatever comes our way."

As they sat there, planning their next move, Abby couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. The road ahead was uncertain, but she knew that with Eric by her side, they could face any challenge.
