"What the hell?!"

Suddenly I felt a tug on my arm as I turned around seeing Yadoko grab my arm and jump out the window.

"Wait! Wait! What the hell?!"

As we fell Yadoko jumped to a tree as I plummeted through it, falling to the floor.

"What the?" 

"Come on! You're not going to become valedictorian If you can't even get a class." 

She then hopped away from tree to tree.

"Are. You. KIDDING ME!" 

as I reached out to her and jumped I felt a tingle in my body as I was propelled forwards, hitting the tree face forwards. 

"What the-"

I looked around seeing if someone pushed me but no one was there. I then took a step, my body still filled with anger as I felt the tingle again, face planting into the ground. As I picked myself up I noticed lightning scorch marks on the ground.

"Huh"

I leaned my hand over it and it was still warm. 

"That's weird."

I tried taking another step but the buzz ran through my body. As I slipped I saw golden lightning streaming off my tail and connecting with the golden scales on my legs. I plummeted to the ground but now I knew.

"So....that's different." 

I stood back up, taking a deep breath and taking a step. This time I didn't fly forwards. 

"Okay? Okay! So I have lightning powers... And that gives me....super speed?..."

I sat down, thinking about how that was possible.

"Come on Yumie, you were an biology minor last year, come on... Oh! Nurse. C said I had an Electric organ in my tail, using the electric organ it must be......... supercharging my muscles to make me run faster! So then by charging my leg muscles to run faster I can reach Principal. P's location faster! Only problem is."

I looked up, seeing the various trees in my way.

"I'm going to be running into a lot of trees."

[Crack]

I looked up, one of the large branches I had hit on my way down was snapping, holding on by a fiber. Before a second passed it's fibers snapped and it began falling. Suddenly my vision slanted and the world seemed to move in slow motion. Unknowingly I dodged out of the way as the branch fell to the ground with a thump.

"What the-?"

I looked around, the world looked blurry as I focused on one thing at a time. However I felt quicker and the world slower.

"Is this? I've studied that King Cobra's strikes are super quick and they have exceptional reaction time. Is this that?....well, only one way to find out."

I leaned down, I felt the buzz in my legs as I closed my eyes, when I opened them the world felt slow and I leaped off. Electricity coursed off my legs and flew through the air, when I got close to a obstacle my body reacted, moving out of the way.

"Hey! I'm doing it! I might just survive here after all?!"

In the distance I saw several hills with different colored flags on them. Most Ani-humans were heading for the center hill, suggesting that's where the Principal is. I ran harder and eventually reached the hill.
