"it's incredible!"
"Like walking into heaven? Yeah. This haven is just like a normal Japanese city but with unique people. It's a slice of heaven, the garden of Eden, and the Animal Kingdom in form."
"Hence the name?"
"Hence the name. Anyways, I need to speak with the professor. I'll call you when I'm done."
"But I don't have your phone number!"
She shrugged before walking back into the college, waving goodbye. I sighed before walking around the campus, massive people that looked like whales walked around, tubes like in a water park led to a tall building made for aquatic humans. The forests were filled with ani-humans of all shapes and sizes, old people, children, and people walking pets. Even through the forest I could see the swarms of Ani-humans flying above the city. As I continued walking I heard the buzzing of insects behind me, I turned around and saw a muscular, bearded, man with orange hair meditating on a rock, his body was covered in honey and he was eating bananas with his feet.
"Um..."
He opened his right eye, looking at me.
"Creatures. We started with them as food and they continue as food."
He picked up an insect from the honey and ate it with a loud crunch.
"They give me nutrients and in return I give them nutrients."
He dropped the banana to the floor as ants, flys, and Beatles crawled to it.
"O-okay. I'll leave you to your uh, food."
I tried walking away but felt a tug on my tail.
"Ophiophagus Hannah, with slight scratches from a Herpestidae. Though this tail is unique, it still has its bands and is slimmer and shorter than it should be."
I felt the tug and jumped back, covering my tail with my jacket.
"Don't. Touch it."
He stood up, grabbing the wet towel from a nearby tree and wiping it up.
"You should be proud of your Complex. Not many like it exists."
"Well, it's brought me nothing but pain. The whole reason I'm enrolling in this school is to get rid of it."
"You'll never survive here with that mindset"
"Sure, whatever you say...."
He didn't say another word and went back to meditating. I sighed and continued walking into the forest.
"Survive here? It's just a college university, I've survived worse."
I then felt a buzz in my pocket, grabbing my phone I found an unknown phone number.
"Um?"
I turned around and saw a drone flying in the air, the light was flashing red and I knew it was the University. Picking up the phone, a mans voice seemingly around 40 years old and proper in manner spoke.
"Ms. Daika, please head to the main office. The door should have two guards dressed in black."
He then hung up the phone as the drone led me to the door. The drone flew to the guards and handed them a note as they let me inside. Following the signs I arrived at the office where the girl was waiting inside.
"Hello Ms. Daika, my name is Mr. Paz, a professor and the principal of this fine establishment."
The man stood in front of me, his hair was white and black and looked 30 instead of forty.
