Jim Kirk's sister

Chapter 2

I woke up and got dressed. I went to the mess hall and had some breakfast and then i went to the bridge. I still a little shaken from what happened last night and I haven't told anyone because I'm pretty sure everyone will think that I'm crazy. I sat down at my station and started to work. About half way through my shift I was called down to the MedBay because I never took my physical. I was walking when I had that same feeling that I had last night. I looked around and saw nobody and I just kept on walking. When I walked into the MedBay I sat down on a bed and Bones did what he had to do. I guess he was trying to talk to me because he waved his hand in front of my face.

"Sorry what did you say?" I asked

"I asked you how do you like the Enterprise so far?" He asked

"Oh I like it. She's a beautiful starship and I believe that she is the newest ship in the fleet." I said

"That is correct. You sounded like Scotty for a second." He said with a laugh.

"Oh I still haven't met him yet." I said

"Well after we are done here I can take you down to engineering and you can meet him." He said

"Sure I would like that." I said. He finished up my physical and we headed down to engineering. When we got there the first thing that I saw was the giant worpe core. It was huge I didn't realize how big it was until now. We rounded a corner and the first thing I hear is a Scottish accent yelling at someone.

"Scotty!" Bones yelled

"WHAT!" Scotty yelled

"I would like you to meet Emily Kirk she's Jim sister." Bones said

"Well its nice to meet you lass. I'm Scotty." He said

"Nice to meet you too." I said. Bones and Scotty were talking while I snuck away and saw a pip that I could climb and hang out on. When Bones and Scotty were looking for me they saw me on the pipe. Bones shook his head and Scotty looked like he was going to have a heart attack.

"Emily please get down from there." Bones said and I shook my head.

"Lass please get down because if you don't you could fall and break something." Scotty said and I climbed down. We said goodbye to Scotty and went back to the lift. Bones got off before me and when he got off someone came on. I had this weird feeling in the pit of my stomach. The guy looked at me with a smirk and then left. I didn't realize that I was holding my breath in until he left. I finally got to the bridge and got back to work thinking about that guy that was in the lift.
