Chapter 6

We kept on running and running until we came up to the bridge.

"Jerome we're not supposed to be up here if my brother catches us up her he will have my head." I whispered-yelled at him.

"We'll be fine I wanted to show you this." He said

"I don't care I don't want to get in trouble with my brother." I said facing him. 

"Just look." He said and turned me around and I gasped. It was beautiful the stars were shining so bright and the planet that we were parked next to was so pretty. 

"Wow its just so beautiful." I said 

"Not as beautiful as you." He said and I blushed. 

"Listen Emily I know I've only known you for not even a week but I wanted to tell you that I love you. I know this sounds crazy but I really do love you. I don't care if you don't feel the same way but I just wanted you to know that I love you." He said and I smiled. I walked up to him and kissed him on the lips and he kissed back. 

"Will you Emily Kirk be my girlfriend?" He asked 

"Yes I will be your girlfriend Jerome." I said with the biggest smile on my face. 

"I love you Emily." He said 

"I love you too Jerome." I said. We stayed on the bridge for a while until I became very tired and went back to my room. I fell asleep really fast. The next morning I was woken up by knocking at my door. I opened the door and no one was there except another letter. I picked it up and opened the letter. 

Emily,

I  saw you and your boyfriend up on the bridge last night and I have to say that you two are so adorable together. Don't worry I won't tell anyone as long as you don't tell anyone about me. I decided for us to meet later rather then next week. Have a nice life until we officially meet and remember I'm always watching you.

You have to be kidding me I mean he was watching us last night. I thought I felt someone watching us last night and I was right. I put the letter in my nightstand drawer. I  got dressed for a not so busy day on the bridge. I was sitting in my station when Jim's communicator started to beep. He muttered something into it and hung up. He walked over to me with a straight face on.

"Emily come with me Bones needs us both." He said and I nodded and followed him. We took the lift all the way down to engineering and I was confused. 

"Jim why are we down at engineering I thought Bones wanted to see us." I said 

"He does but he wants us down here for some reason." He said and I nodded. 

"Ah there you guys are come and follow me." Bones said and we followed. We entered this room that I never saw before and there were these capsules with people in them what? Wait why is there a capsule open? 

"No no no no no NO!" Jim yelled 

"Whats wrong brother?" I asked 

"Khan is gone he escaped his capsule." He said 

"How do you think he did that?" Bones asked 

"I have no idea but we are going to find out an stop him." He said 

"Wait who is this Khan person?" I asked 

"He is a dangerous man and he killed Admiral Marcus and broke his daughters leg. He almost killed your brother and we recapture him and put him in this capsule and froze him." Bones explained 

"But he got out and how did he do it since you said that he was frozen?' I asked 

"We don't know." Bones said 

"But like I said we are going to find out." He said and I nodded.
