Chapter 9

"Jim listen to me." I said and he nodded.

"Khan wants to redeem himself and he doesn't want to hurt anyone. He wants to know if you can forgive him for what he did and give him a second chance." I said

"Your not just saying this?" Jim asked

"No I'm not. I'm sorry for what I did. I know that it was wrong and I'm sorry." He said

"Well in that case I forgive you and I'm giving you a second chance." Jim said and I sighed with relief.

"And who's this Emily?" Jim asked

"Oh Jim this is my boyfriend Jerome. Jerome this is my brother Jim." I said and they shook hands.

Log you hurt my sister I hurt you." Jim said

"Don't worry I won't hurt her." He said
and I smiled.

"Well Khan you can stay in Jerome's room with him." He said and Khan nodded.

"So I will see you two later." I said and kissed Jerome on the cheek.

"Bye Emily." Jerome said and kissed my cheek.

"Bye Emily." Khan said

"Bye guys." I said and they left.

"Are you crazy Emily why would you hang out with Khan." Bones said

"Because he's changed and I can tell that what he is saying is true." I said

"Yeah Emily has had they gift ever since we were little." Jim said

"Well you better be right." Bones said and I rolled my eyes. I finished my shift and decided to go and find Jerome. I found him in one of the rec. rooms with Khan. They were laughing and I smiled.

"Do my eyes deceive me? Are Jerome and Khan getting along? I'm so shocked." I said sarcastically and they laughed. I laughed with them and say across from them.

"So my brother is giving you a second chance." I said

"Yeah I was surprised that he gave me a second chance that quick." He said and I nodded.

"Khan and I have to go." Jerome said

"Where are you guys going?" I asked

"I'll see you later ok?" Jerome said

"Ok." I said and they left. I decided to go to my room and take a nap because I'm tired.
