Chapter 5

I can't wait until my lunch break because I get to spend more time with Jerome. When I got onto the bridge and walked over to Sulu and Pavel.

"Thanks guys." I said

"For vwhat" Pavel asked

"For inviting me to watch the movie with you guys last night." I said with the biggest smile on my face.

"I really know what she's thanking us for?" Sulu said

"What do you mean?" I asked

"Your thanking us because you and Jerome hit it off last night and I know that you are having lunch with him today." He said and I blushed.

"Just don't tell Jim anything." I said

"Don't tell me what?" He asked

"Nothing Captain." Sulu said

"What ever you say and emily get to your station." He said

"Yes Captain." I said and walked to my seat. I wasn't even paying attention to what I was doing because I was thinking of Jerome. When my lunch break finally came I ran into the lift and went to the rec. room. I got my lunch and looked around for Jerome and I found him. I walked over to his table and said hello.

"Hey Emily." He said

"Hey Jerome." I said

"So how was your day so far." He asked

"It was good but it's been a long morning for me." I said

"Mine too. I just couldn't wait to see you again." He said and his cheek turned a light shade of pink.

"Me too." I said and blushed and he smiled. The rest of our lunch break went to fast and we had to say goodbye. I went back to the bridge with a smile on my face.

"Miss. Emily why are you smiling so much?" Spock asked and Jim looked at you.

"Nothing Mr. Spock just happy for no reason." I said with my smile growing bigger. When my shift was over and I walked over to Sulu and Pavel.

"So are guys almost done with your shifts?" I asked

"Yeah mine ends in 5 minutes." Pavel said

"Well mine doesn't end for another hour." Sulu said and I frowned.

"Well come to my room when your done because me and Pavel are going to be there." I said and he nodded.

"My shift is done and now we can hang out." Pavel said and we left a sad Sulu. When we got in the lift we headed down to my room. We actually ran into Jerome on the way to my room. When we got out of the lift Jerome couldn't come with us because he had something to do but he said that he would have dinner with us. Once we got to my room I went to put my watch anyway and sat on the couch with Pavel. We watched some tv until Sulu came. We still had an hour to kill so we continued to watch tv until it was dinner time. When we got to the rec. room 3 we got our dinner and it was chicken parmesan with noodles. We sat down and soon Jerome sat with us. We were laughing and having a good time.

"Jerome you got a little sauce on your chin." I said while laughing

"thanks." He said

"No I got it." I said. I took my napkin and wiped his chin. We were both looking into each other's eyes and it felt like the world more like space stopped for a moment.

"There." I said

"Thank you." he said and we were still looking into each other's eyes until someone cleared their throat.

"So anyone up for another movie?" Sulu said

"As long as its not a scary one." I said

"It won't be scary I promise." Sulu said and I nodded. We finished our dinner and went to Sulu's room again and we watched Frozen and I was singing along to every word of it.

"Emily your a really good singer." Jerome said and I blushed.

"Thanks but I'm not that good." I said

"Are you kidding your voice is amazing." Sulu said

"Thank you." I said

"I'm so glad today is Friday I don't have work tomorrow." Jerome said

"Lucky." I said and he frowned.

"Why?' He asked

"Since we work on the bridge we have to work all day everyday. We also have to work on the weekends but that's why we are really happy when we are on shore leave." Sulu said and me and Pavel nodded.

"So I can't hang out with you guys tomorrow?" He asked

"Sorry Jerome but we have to work." I said

"When is the next shore leave?" He asked

"Not for 8 months." I said and he groaned.

"Come with me."He said and grabbed my hand.

"Where are we going?" I asked

"You'll see soon." He said and we ran hand in hand into the hallway to god knows where.
