One month later
I had just finished my shift and I'm heading back to my room. When I got to my door there was a letter with my name on it. I picked it up and walked into my room and sat on the couch. I opened the letter and read it aloud.
Dear Emily Kirk,
Hello Emily I have been watching you for a month now and you haven't even noticed. You don't know me yet but I'm pretty sure you'll find out. If you tell anyone about me I will hurt your brother and don't you dare think I'm bluffing because I will actually do it. If you want to know who I am come to rec. room 3 two weeks from today. Have a nice day and try not to think about me too much because it will distract you from your work.

After I read the note I was pretty nervous. I mean he said that he will hurt Jim if I tell anyone. I was disrupted from my thoughts when my communicator beeped. I opened my communicator with shaky hands.
"Hello?" I said
"Hey Emily its me Sulu." He said and I sighed with relief.
Hey whats up?" I asked
"Well me and Pavel were wondering if you would want to hang out with us tonight?" He asked
"Sure I will be there." I said
"Meet us in rec room 3 and we will go to our room." He said and I paused. I looked down at the letter and its the same place where I'm going to meet my stalker two weeks from now. Was this tied together somehow or is this just me over thinking it.
"Emily are you there?" Sulu asked
"Yeah sorry I was thinking about something and I'll be right there." I said and hung up. While I was in the lift I was thinking about the guy that I'm meeting in two weeks. I'm scared of who it could be. I got to the rec room in about 5 minutes and I was greeted by a happy Pavel and Sulu and some guy that was standing next to them. He had red hair and he looked really nice. Pavel and Sulu gave me and a hug.
"And who is this?" I asked pointing to the guy he looked like he was my age.
"Oh this is Jerome. Jerome meet Emily." He said and I waved to him.
"Hi Jerome I've never seen you before." I said
"That's because I don't have a lot of friends and I work in engineering." He said with a smile.
"Oh now that makes sense." I said with a smile.
"I'm thinking after dinner we could watch a movie." Pavel said
"That sounds like a great idea." I said and Jerome nodded. We had dinner together and it was full of laughs and stories. We decided that we would all change out of our uniforms and into something casual and meet back here in 30 minutes. When I got changed (outfit above) I came back and I was the only one there and then Jerome came in.
"Hello Emily you look nice." He said and I blushed.
"You look nice yourself." I said and he smiled.
"So where did you grow up?" I asked
"New York City you?" He asked
"San Francisco." I said
"Ah your a California kid." He said
"And your a New Yorker kid." I said and we both laughed.
"Do you have any sibling?" I asked
"No do you have any?" He asked
"Yeah I have an older brother." I said. Sulu and Pavel came walking in and we left to go to Sulu's room. We decided to watch an old horror movie called Final Desintation 2. Jerome and I sat on the couch and Pavel and Sulu sat on the arm chairs. By the end of the movie my head was in the crock of Jerome's neck with my face facing away from the screen.
"Is it over?" I asked
"Yeah its over." He said
"Ok good." I said and faced forward. Jerome looked down to his hand and looked where he was looking and I blushed. We were holding hands.
"Sorry." I said and moved my hand.
"No it's ok I don't mind." He said
"Well I should get back its getting late." I said
"I'll walk you to your room." He said
"Bye Sulu, Bye Pavel see you guys tomorrow." I said
"Bye Emily" They said at the same time. We got to my room about ten minutes later and I didn't realize that we were still holding hands.
"I had fun even I was scared most of the time." I laughed
"Me too we should do this again sometime." He said
"i would like that." I said and smiled
"Well I will see you tomorrow. Have lunched together?"He asked
"I would love too see you then." I said
"Bye Emily." He said and kissed me on the cheek.
"Bye Jerome." I said and walked into my room with the biggest smile on my face.
