Thoughts: I like all the detail that's in the book that's not in the movie. I feel like i'm getting more insight into the story than I got from the movie. This is my first time reading the books of this series and i'm really liking it so far. The book is also very easy to read which I love. I hate to say it but Katniss is lowkey annoying. She's always saying Peeta is trying to put her down when he's literally just complementing her. She's getting on my nerves right now. This book is moving so fast and I really like that. It is such a breezy read so far. Definitely recommend it if you're trying to get into reading. The tracker jacker scene with Glimmer was way more gruesome in the book than it was in the movie. I gagged when Katniss described the state of Glimmer's wounds. The ending of this book is sad but I understand where Katniss is coming from. Sorting through your feelings for two guys you love has got to be hard. This book was written incredibly well. Both the book and the movie are incredible.
